6328 attempts on Infinity - 89%, 5807 attempts on Toxic Moon - 72% and 7648 attempts on Colors (abandoned level) 65%... Uggghhh...
Get hyped guys!according to the GD wiki RobTop said that the sneak peek will come very soon, and that 2.1 release is very close because he is only fixing bugs, tweaks, hacks etc. !
I prefer gameplay levels, especailly the 1.9 ones. The reason why is because of 3 simple reasons... [1.] It is unfair for creators that like gameplay over effects and work hard on their levels. [2.] Effect levels are usually only good in the Backround and not the rings, blocks, gameplay, decoration, [etc.] [3.] Usually the effects are almost the same within every level and it gets old after a while. I hope you can agree, relate, or like my opinion on this debate.
Gameplay all the way. I once played a level that had this crazy background parallax thing on the second wave part, but the whole sequence was just blank. You go through the area. No obstacles to stop you. After that, I began to prefer old levels more.

There needs to be a balance, which is something that most 2.0 creators seem to not understand. They pour so much time into making a cool background, that the gameplay turns out to be uninspired in any way. It really gets to me, as I feel that creators now have to add tons of bg and effects to even have their levels considered good. This honestly makes level creating, at least for me, stressful, as I feel like I just have to come up with some super-cool unique effect or else my levels will be ignored...
No. It's just RobTop confirmed tons of 2.1 features, and it's taking almost as long as 2.0, when it was suppose to be a quick, small update. (Ik, making a game is hard, but if he moved some features in 2.2, we can at least play some of the current 2.1 features earlier).
i always wonder, why it takes so long to Rob to make a sneak peek of 15/20 seconds, he replied to me 3-4 days ago that he's "working on it" i mean.. you don't really even have to "work" on it, you just record the first 15-20 seconds of the level, upload on yt and that's it.
Maybe the level isn't polished yet, or maybe he just wants to release the video when he feels that he is almost done with the update.
