So, anyone else thinks the dislike button should be removed from GD? it's a pretty useless function that 90% of the people use because they think the level is too hard for them or some other dumb reason, even though the creator put a lot of effort into the level, also the point of the game is being hard. the dislike button just makes it harder to get the 50/100 likes achievement for unknown creators. People can use the comment section to express what they didn't like about the level and give constructive criticism instead of just clicking a button.

One of my suggestions for RobTop is to give a reason for disliking a level, and somebody should be around to approve the reasons (since RobTop is always busy). If the reason is not approved, then the player would be banned from the level editor for a month or so. Also, the level would have 1 less dislike after that happens.

 

I agree, some levels that i make that our too hard usually get a burst of likes, around 25, but over time gets dislikes, going down to 20 :/

Completely agree. Except with the geometry star part, the whole point (like the 100 likes achievment) is to get people to actually try to make a good level.

 

I think the dislike button should be removed as well. I hate it when people dislike my status updates for no reason.
