What is the average screen width in the editor (like how many blocks should I make the custom background) because I have been getting a few complaints that my custom backgrounds aren't wide enough.
No my screen has a weird resolution for the game, so when it looks right for me, it isn't right for other people
Nope. I use steam to build levels. (the reason my resolution is weird is because I have three screens hooked up all with different resolutions). but sure i'll try. my other problem is is that I noticed that when objects are locked to player x/y, they do not stay relative to the player sometimes
I noticed this a long time ago, but did you know that the BG and ground of the last level you played are the BG and ground of the starting screen? Try it out!
To be completely, brutally honest- the design looks cool, but the gameplay is ridiculously buggy and annoying. It took me 35 attempts to get to 12%. It would be way more fun if you got rid of the fake-out platforms in the first cube section, and I don't know what else in sections after that..
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 89% on Infinity.................... WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I still need two more people to do sections at the end of this big collab I'm doing. Anyone wanna help? (please?) Please only respond if you think your section will look equally good to the current ones. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Some parts were awesome, but some weren't that good... I don't think I'd be good enough to collab tho, sorry :|
I don't think I'll quit GD for a while. I may take breaks every now and then, but as soon as the new update is out or some amazing level is created, I'll jump right back on.
