Yeah. It will be out before 2.1. But it probably will be a free update for everyone

 

Has it ever occured to anyone that all these "If _____ was level 1" levels would be absolutely awful ways of introducing the game?

 

He said it will come out before 2.1 I know that he said its a few levels be he also said that it hasn't got anything to do with 2.1 so it must be an addition, also, are you blind? IT HAS ITS OWN ICON!

BTW he never says its not a new app, just that its not DLC

Anyway, why would rob update GD then update GD a few days after?

Yeah, Meltdown might just be a spin off game, similar to Boomlings Matchup being a new version of Boomlings, if you get what I mean.

I'm just going to butt in, If you don't mind. But... it's very plausible that it's a new app. What else would it be if it wasn't DlC? Rob said that it would be free for everyone to play, so it's obviously not another update to the full version of the game.

 

You people are so mean. I don't know. Why would Robtop then release a new app. How would it work?

 

:/ I really don't want to have another app that is TOTALLY seperated. If it would be something like a MIDDLE between the full and the lite version and would use the same servers, I guess it would be OK

 

So does that i mean if i install a different version of geometry dash and uninstall the other my account is already lost huh?

I heard someone say that it is a new game because of the new app icon. But that might not be the case.

Take for example, Plants vs. Zombies 2 and Crossy Road, where the app icon changes with almost every major update. So, app developers have the ability to change the app icon with an update, so maybe RobTop will do this with 2.1.

 

Make it so the icons you see are the same colors as your colors.

If the app icon is just changed then why does it
1. Have a symbol in the corner
2. Have a new name?
Thats like saying that, just becuase a teaser shows a new cube icon, doesn't mean its not in the game.
He also said that its "just a few levels" meaning it can't just be an icon change

Now those are some very good points. I agree. But who knows what Rob will do? Maybe Meltdown will be something separate from the game, but still in the app itself.

Also, I never said that it won't be a new game. I was just bring up the point that some people said, "Oh, it has to be a new game because there is a new app icon!" which could very well be false.
