And nvm I did get past that jump on the new map by you mask. It won't work correctly on my iPad. But it works every time on my iPod. Is there a different in coding or something on the 2 versions? You might want to make 6% a bit different so iPad users can get past it, but it might just be me.
They should be identical, but very very tight timing might cause an issue between devices (iPhone, iPad, different Android screens etc.)
Hello, Robtop! Can you check out my new maps, RobTop? My game nickname is mask. The maps are 'Crescendo' (at ver3 the error got fixed) And skyground! (By mask) Can you give these maps star value? Lol!
Interesting, crashing for me when trying to view creator leaderboard. Tried resetting and closing down app. I'll tell you if I find anything Edit: it's crashing on my iPad 4 also
Maybe My maps ignored. Robtop. I know why people not playing and give swearword to my maps. But i want real demon level. Why ignore me. Another reason? Design? I know Star/difficult recommend system. But people don't give 10 star and demon. Instead of people giving 1star and easy value. I don't care about give 1 star or easy. I only want a demon difficulty. Please can you check out my maps? my map name is 'The Hell dignity' and 'The Hell origin'
Honestly, i think that your levels are just stupidly impossible, even more than the other demons. I can never even get past like the first jump on those... Much less the whole level. They are too hard so people just rage dans don't enjoy them. Try making an easier level, and I'm sure people will love them! Good luck!
It's not my intention to ignore maps, it's just difficult to go through them all so I might miss a few. When it comes to your maps I think Darnoc is right. Your timing is so tight that you have to be extremely precise, which makes players either rage and dislike the map, or make them think the game is bugged. When I create maps there are a lot of things I keep in mind to make sure that even if some jumps are difficult, they don't frustrate the player in a negative way. One thing that I always go by when making maps is to never punish the player when he does the right thing. Three spikes for instance is the kind of obstacle that can negatively frustrate players. They know the spikes are coming and push to jump over, but fail because of timing. Here the player is punished even though he made the right decision, which is something I find most players dislike if its too extreme. A good demon map in my opinion uses fakes, misdirection and some timing to create the difficulty, not extremely tight timing. Demon Park for instance does this very well while still being very difficult
Great! And also my new level is out!!! And I am extremely happy of how it turned out! Theory of Nothing!
Geometry Dash Subreddit! Geometry Dash Subreddit! Robtop, if you want, I can make you a moderator and see if the subreddit can get some traffic. I think it would be a good thing to help improve the game and find good levels through the community! Also anyone else who wants to be moderator just ask. This is very experimental, I just think it could be cool http://www.reddit.com/r/geometrydash/
