This new option is awesome, but i got some question:
Will we be able to cut some parts of song and then merge them together?

 

That would be tricky to do effectively and make it sound good without a external editing progra

Yeah, but some tracks are nice, but they need to be trimmed in some parts...

 

Unfortunately no, there will not be support for trimming. You will be able to choose start and end, but creating a system where you can select parts would be to timeconsuming :/

 

I was just wondering if you are going to add slopes without lines? And also, I really want more decorations that are c-obj.

I also thought of a small thing you could add. Maybe you could be able to go into a normal editor just with about 10tall and 40wide build space, and you could write "Viprin" with blocks, then set it as your signature. And then, you could click add signature when you are at the end of making a level

 

Actually, technically, couldn't you download the song, edit it on your computer and re upload it to new grounds under a license identical to the original song and then use it in geometry dash?

 

I have already added slopes without lines, invisible slopes etc.

I have new details, but I will try to add some more options in this update or the next. I have some ideas that could be cool.

Also, about the signature. That would work if I add a custom object system where you can save and paste block groups between levels etc. Not sure if it will be in this update though.

 

Sure that should be possible. As long as you follow the rules of the Creative Commons License

What kind of restrictions will be in place with the whole songs from Newgrounds thing? And what about uploading YouTube videos, will there be problems with auto-detection for copyrighted material?

 

It's strange how Roptop dont answer any of my questions..i think he dont do that cause i tell him a lot of time to rate my map or Just he didn't read my comment..maybe he didn't liked my map..or because i'm not a famouse creator in the game.

 

i came here after a whole day and man the posts escalated......nyways i read your whole post and first of all thanks a lot for taking out time to write so much to help me...secondly i took your suggestion and now i build portions of the levels i get ideas of and then shift them to where i need them....never used to do that before lol.....also the video is working now i just checked and once again thanks hope fos 4 gets rated soon

biggest update of all......now building according to the tune and using the correct song will make levels harder to make but when completed properly u will find some sexy levels out there.....grt job rob now its just about time for the sneak peek right?
