You will be able to offset the start of the song. Example: You download a song that is 4min long but you want the middle part, you can set the start time to be 1:30 and the level will start from that time
Ah thanks for this! But I have a question! Will we be able to trim songs? Oops, you just answered that! *FAIL* But I do have another question: could you implement something that will make the music fade out? (Then we could decide when). Because levels stopping mid-music is never fun.

YAY newground songs!! I just realized that all djvi, dj nate and waterflame songs are there too. Yayaa
It will be cool to see how people make levels now Whenever people make a level with Clubstep as song, they almost allways add demon heads to the level. But now, if you use a song that is never used before, you have to be a lot more original.
Will there be more social features in 1.9? Or will it be added for another update? I really think friends, profiles and clans should be added. And also a friend leaderboard and a clan leaderboard
Every song on newgrounds? So many possibilities Now I'll have to go search an awesome undiscovered song on newgrounds. Also really looking forward to the sneak peek.
I will be adding more social features after 1.9. I want to try and get this update done as fast as possible There will be a step in the right direction for profiles though, since the new user account system will require players to create an account if they want to backup their game data. Using that you can then expand to more social features in the future. I think things like user description, favourite maps, subscribe to maps, YouTube link, clans, friends etc. can be a really great addition to Geometry Dash. I just need time to build the system
For more archivements, you can add more color for the effect when you go on blue yellow pink jumps (Sorry for my BAAAD english)
I think more leaderboards should be added aswell. Maybe you could do it so that you can Sort By stars, demons, secret coins etc? Or maybe all the different leaderboards would be better to have on the Geometry Dash page?
One question robtop: How will we be able to choose from the newgrounds songs? And will we be able to use whatever songs we want or do we need permission first?
