I'm afraid without a moderator, the thread will remain this way. People either can't read, or just aren't considerate of the other people in this thread, it's kind of sad really. I've seen a lot good people drop out of TA because the spam gets so annoying (and frankly, I've been much less active myself due to it). What good does spamming "hype train!" and "free cookies!" do? It only makes people mad at you, and if we had a moderator you'd be banned. If you want to chat like this, make a Skype group for God's sake. Allow me to put it in a way you'll all understand... THIS IS NOT A CHAT ROOM

The moderator got banned, so people have been able to freely spam & chat without being banned, giving a false sense of activity.

I'm not apart of this "Spamming Nonsense" as you call it, but I am trying to defend these people, they are excited, they have been waiting almost a year for this update. We have come this far and now that 2.0 is being reviewed they have the right to be happy, if you don't want to be annoyed then I recommend leaving TA and taking a break. (I'm really sorry, I don't want to sound rude ) I agree some things are taken too far but give them a chance
It is perfectly acceptable to be hyped (I am very hyped as well), and make a "all aboard the hype train!" joke every once in a while, but it gets old very fast. Especially after reading page after page of people posting the exact same (off-topic) thing, it gets very annoying and defeats the purpose of having a thread dedicated to discussing GD. Like I said, if you want to barrage people with hype train & cookie posts, do it in a Skype chat! Not here!
Really, an admin should come here and do some cleaning. 1 or 2 hype train stories per 3 pages are acceptable, but this thing is really out of control. This thread had about 900 pages when 1.9 was released. Now over 4000. I know we will enjoy 2.0 all together sooner or later, just some containment. IDK, you can just relax or discuss about other games or GMD stuff that is not 2.0-related. (such as level creation tips, fix game errors, how to host a collab, etc.) Excuse me if I sound a bit angry, but I'm tired because it's a bit late here and need some sleep (0:26 here and I slept for very short last night. Well still going to hang here for an hour or two.
