Nah. Nobody has been known to mod GD, and what you're talking about is a mod. No, don't tell me Promingy modded it, because he didn't.

 

I don't see it as possible. There is a very slim chance that somebody that is very skilled could have reverse-engineered the Android or the PC version and changed the version validation code to identify itself as 2.0 to download the level, most likely resulting in a game crash due to the missing/unknown content & systems, but the Apple revision and even the RobTop alternate account scenarios are far more likely to be.
