He wants all platforms to receive the update at the same time, which is why we have to wait for Apple to accept it before it is available to the community. :/ There would also be problems with users showcasing 2.0 icons on 1.9 leaderboards, and such. IOS users also make up approximately 60% of all Geometry Dash players, so it would be kind of unfair to them, because they would get the update last ( I play Geometry Dash on my I-Phone ).
It would be very unfair to IoS players if others got the update almost a week in advance to them. Imagine hearing all of these great things and seeing all of the new online levels but being unable to play them yourself. It would be hell Therefore Robtop submits it to Apple first, and once they finish the rest of the platforms receive it an hour or so later.

How would this break music sync? You are still going at a constant speed. No one syncs their level to the music anyway ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Personally I would never use it, sure there are 'tap me' comments but I want to know what people think of my level As for the hate comments people should just suck it up and move on..
That is true, but when hate comments get out of hand I think this feature would be pretty useful... It's just my opinion.
That would be a very good Addition All the spam in the comments, it would be great to get rid of it all But if someone wants to keep comments (like me), they can keep it Everyone wins ! (Except for those evil spammers which don't deserve to win )
