It's due to strict guidelines regarding what can and what cannot be put it in an application, they have to follow through with them even if the application makes them a lot of cash. :/ Also, even though Apple cares a lot about money, it wouldn't look good on them if some apps had to reviewed for a month and some didn't... It would cause a huge riot.
That explains a lot. I remember reading a few pages of this thread where, in update 1.4, the game automatically crashed if you had over 5 completed demon levels or 500 stars. One of Apple's guidelines regarding reviewing applications is is that they cannot crash under any circumstance. :roll eyes:
