I'm in a mega collab with salient it's impossabruh demon and he will verify it so PREPARE UR ------ 'ES
Hi!!! Well, August is nearing and I lost hope on playing the update for the rest of my vacation ( ͡o ͜ʖ ͡o) Anyway.. I recently got the 2000 star gravity ball and the 500-user ship and IT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!
He doesn't actually use speed hacks. What he does is use a type of verification hack where you can go into the game's sprite sheet files and manually verify the level without actually playing it. At least, he used to- It was patched in 1.9, which is probably why he stopped making extremely hard levels until now ( his other account, "Sailent", also got banned for verification hacks). However, according to a post on the other Geometry Dash forum, he found a new verification glitch, which is how he managed to make this level. It's near impossible with speed hacking, so I doubt anybody will be able to beat it ( It's still possible, of course, but it requires precision and timing on a level that most people can't handle).
Why does Sailent keep making IMPOSSIBRUH demons? He is gonna get hate and stuff for hacking, and I doubt anyone will beat this in Practice mode less than 1000 attempts. EDIT: "Silent Clubstep wasn't hard enough" Srsly? .-.
If there was on thing I could improve about GD, it would be the rating system (and I don't mean the fact that great creators aren't known, even though that is something that could be improved), I mean the difficulty of levels nowadays. I just played a demon level and it took me about 500 attempts in practice mode... I admit, demons are supposed to be challenging, but I think some of you guys and maybe also RobTop would agree that some (not all) have become far too hard... I don't mean to complain, it's just constructive criticism. Since 1.9 i've completed several demons, but the majority have been pre-1.9 rated levels. I think the only 1.9 demons I did were Cosmic Dreamer (which is now not a Demon cos it has a secret way, that I didn't even know about when I beat it anyway), and Speed of light (was that the name?). It's not just demons tho, although they are the bigger issue IMO, but also every other difficulty. Even some Hard rated levels are very tough now. I saw the Insane 9 star level Robotic Nightmares the other day (which I've completed) and I personally think that that is the kind of difficulty that Insane 9 stars should be, but now, some Insane 8 stars are (IMO) close to what I'd call Demon... I remember when Insane or Harder levels were difficult yes, but completable in less than about 150 attempts. If I were to give a level I would say is a model Demon, (ie what kind of difficulty all Demons should be on average), I would say Death Moon by Caustic - it's very long, but there's no ridiculously narrow passages or fast dual parts which have different paths that you have to practice millions of times to get through. That's one thing I can't really put up with in Demons now is the fake blocks and sneaky, completely invisible paths. I call that an unfair Demon. I can tolerate the odd sneaky path or 'some fake and some real' block sections, because that makes them a bit harder, but some demons are like that all the way through now. I'm sorry for the long post, and I know this kind of thing has been mentioned before, but I thought it needed addressing again, as in 2.0 with all the new things, the demons especially are bound to be even harder, and then I think they will be almost impossible to complete... I just want demons that can be done in no more than 1,500 attempts back... RobTops demons are the best because they're difficult and have a few tricky sneaky traps here and there, but they're fair and there's no ridiculously hard parts that rely on luck to complete, like most levels now. Please don't hate me for putting forward my opinion (or writing a whole essay on it), I just wanted someone to see it, and I respect others opinions on this subject too, so let me know what you guys think coz maybe I'm just crap at demons and levels in general now
Don't worry, RobTop isn't even online right now, probably busy polishing the update. As well, he probably heard me talking about Sailent's verification's methods before, and he didn't ban him again.
Can you give us a possible release date for 2.0? Base it on how fast you're going in the making of levels, the addition of new features and the fixing of bugs.
It's tricky to handle, since players will make very difficult levels either way. After 2.0 is released I will create map packs with levels from 1.9. In those map packs I will try to select fair/good demon levels, which should help players filter through all the levels currently available. Another options is to let players vote on the quality of a level instead of just like/dislike. That may force level creators to make levels that are better designed. Not sure tbh, needs some planning but I agree that some changes are needed
KFA I've been waiting for someone to say that since November, it's 100% true that even a 4 star level can be as hard as a demon in 1.7 or 1.6. In fact I stopped with the whole demon level completing thing it's that they are just to hard for me to complete. So yeah I agree with you KFA
