How is the update taking way too long? I have waited for about 2-3 years for an update on a game, and it was always worth it. And, it is not taking too long. Major updates take a long time! Especially sense Robtop has added several new tabs of blocks. If you compare the amount of tabs with blocks today to the amount coming in 2.0, you will see a huge difference, oh, and it gets better. Robtop had to manually texture each and every single block. There is reason it is taking so long, it is the fact that he added so much stuff, which will make it worth it (Unless you hate lots of cool stuff) Also, why are you taking on a Moderator?
Stop arguing Holy shit, all this arguing about the update is unnecessary and annoying. I'm sure many others agree. I know it's been a long wait but when the update is released, we'll be super happy. Would you rather have a super buggy/laggy update? He's taking his time to fix these bugs so we're happy. So stop complaining.
Agreed. I have waited a few years for a update for a game to come out, and it always made me happy . But, in those communities, people were patient, in this one, people are used to updates every few months, not once a year. So, things are different. But, I kinda like long waits, gives me more time to do stuff before another update comes.
I agree. I know I'm not always patient myself, but complaining about it just makes it worse, and is downright annoying. Plus, he's probably going to submit it this weekend
Hi, I was thinking to design a vehicle that shoots laser beams automatically that destroy some types the blocks or monsters. It can be useful to take secret coins or keys, without the need to pass through it. And you can place also the bombs that if they are hit by the laser, you lose I think it is a good idea I hope you and Robtop take into consideration (sorry for my bad english)
How would that work? Geometry Dash only one function and that's to tap. How will you shoot the lasers and control at the same time? The only way it would work is if it moved up and down the screen on it's own and you tapped to shoot.

I'm perfectly patient, wanna know why? Because I have a life outside of GD, yes it's one of my favourite things (number 3 actually ) I'm fine spending 9 months on 1.9 because I only play 1-2 hours a day, the rest is with my gf who I love ;-;
will the update include a new design ? I was wondering if there will be a new design to the game (mostly just home screen)well or are there extra feature on it?

The vehicle can shoots automatically, without the need of the tap. Or the vehicle moves up and down automatically, and you just have to shoot the obstacles in front of you
