Probably right but still the update might have been submitted. Two reasons we don't even know that might be true. All we can do is wait for 2.0
How about this, he's submitted it and the reason for his inactivity is because the day through night working on the changelog. If you remember a week ago or two he said he never started on the log.

Remember the good times when we thought 2.0 would come out in March or April? It shouldn't take 8 months to make this update. I'm expecting more than 2 levels. It's freaking 2.0 for crying out loud! Give us a bunch of levels like 1.0 did! And I won't use the new editor features because what's the point if it's impossible to get featured unless you're lucky?! If we only get two levels, I swear I will kill someone if Deadlocked is unlockable. I'm not waiting 8 months on two official levels if I can only actually play one of them. It's hard enough unlocking Clubstep and ToE 2, but 40 coins to me is ridiculous. That's my thoughts on 2.0.

It's a free update. You'll be the first to moan if there's bugs. Check how other people act with updates to games. They're patient. You're acting like a spoilt brat with a 'want it now want it now' attitude Believe it or not it can take some time to do a major update
I agree, this is 2.0. Robtop's doing so much it's practically a while extension of Geometry Dash instead of "Just an update." Now a few more days isn't going to kill anyone, there has NEVER been a reported case of something dying of waiting.

It takes a long time to make those editor features, if you don't use them and expect the update to come faster then that's your problem
