Hey Lord RubRub,nice to see you online! Can you estimate how much it will take for all the bugs to be fixed?
Hey, Rob is on! Like a guy said earlier, will there be a way to go from 2 player mode to 1 player mode on a level? And will there be different variations of skins for dragons like there is with saws instead of just having a default black dragon?
1. Yes I am 2. Not yet. I haven't run into anything critical for a while, like the game crashing etc. but there are a lot of small things that show up and need fixing. Generally if I was making a game without any user generated content, the process would be much simpler. Then I would just play my levels, make sure they work and be done. But when users can create their own levels, in an editor that allows as much freedom as the one in Geometry Dash, things can get a bit messy. I need to test what happens when you create the weirdest levels, connect groups and triggers etc. etc. This is specially important in Geometry Dash because once the update is out and players build levels, there are some things I can't change anymore. For instance if there was an error in collision boxes, I wouldn't be able to fix it after the update was released because it could potentially break created levels. We are close, but not quite ready
RobTop since you seem to be active I have some questions if you don't mind answering. 1.Do you build levels in the editor to test out things that you don't make into official levels? 2.On Wikipedia it says that level 19 is called "Funky Club" is this true?(If you want I can post a link to it.)
1. Yup, I make lots of small test levels, but they aren't pretty 2. Nope I don't have any. I reset the game and test things all the time, so I never get any stats,
If G-Force stops bringing up the big portals, I will eat my socks. Spoiler JK, G-Force. Also, how much do you think the size would increase by? I'm curious...
Hi RobTop, good to see you being active Anyways, a have a small question or two. How long does it take you to make a main level? I've always wanted to know, because I doubt that the whole dev period on each update is level building Second: Are you going to tell us the mystery song's name before the update is released?
RobTop!! This is important to me. I really don't see a reason to only let account names be changed once. You should allow unlimited name changes if you give the name-changing option at all. I recently changed my name not knowing it could only be done once and now I really need it changed back!! If you could add this in 2.0 if you have enough time I would be so grateful!
Hey RobTop! I really love Geometry Dash and wanted to congratulate you on 1,000,000+ likes on your Facebook page! I have a few questions about 2.0: 1. Is Dynamic on Track going to be removed from the Ruby Pack? I've been hearing lots of rumors about it being removed, so can you confirm it? 2. I've also been hearing there being more than two levels, and I wanted to know if you could confirm how many there are since your so close to being done with the update 3. Are you going to let us know when you're going to send the update to Apple for review? Thanks for taking your time to read this, because I know your a very busy guy. I've been playing for over a year now and really love the game Can't wait for 2.0 -JoeyReiem
Rob I have 3 questions: 1) will you make an official easy-hard difficulty level before 2.2? 2) will keys be in deadlocked? 3) how many new backgrounds are we looking at?
Rubrub said something about it a while back. Stuff like speed changers, portals etc cant move on x-axis, but other stuff can.
