Hehe nicely done Well, I know some players are concerned that you can make troll/unfair levels using all the new systems. Short answer is yes, you can make very, very, very evil things in update 2.0. There is even a Toggle trigger that can activate/deactivate objects. My choices were this: 1. Don't add any advanced triggers, and limit what players can build to make sure they dont do anything crazy. or 2. Add tools that will give creators much more freedom, and let the community filter out bad maps. I think #2 is much better for the game/community and makes creating levels a lot more interesting. I don't like forcefully adding limits, since I want creators to have as many options as possible (I even removed the limit where you couldn't place blocks too early in a level, now you can place them at x:0) PS: Haha thanks everyone, I'm now scouted on Newgrounds ^^
2.0 Remake of Official Levels Hey, guys. I have mentioned this a few pages ago but ever since the Deadlocked preview, I've had the idea of re-creating every single official level with elements of the 2.0 update. What I have in mind so far is; - The layout and the mechanics of the level will stay unchanged. For example, Stereo Madness had only two "modes"; the default cube and the ship. The remade levels will NOT have extra gamemodes in the levels except for Clubstep and Theory of Everything 2. I have very interesting ways of adding the new Robot mode into those two demons without altering the length of the levels. - When you name your levels, the textbox doesn't let you use the "." symbol. This means I cannot use "Stereo Madness 2.0" or "Clubstep 2.0" as the names of the remade levels. I need some help with creative names for the names of levels. You will be credited to in the description if your idea gets implemented in the end. I've already decided on a name for the Blast Processing 2.0 remake as "Second Processing". - If possible, in the future I'd like RobTop to create a "2.0 map-pack" which has all of my remade levels in it. I'm taking this up very seriously and I'd like to say this is my version of Neptune's V2 series. Sorry for the long post but have fun with coming up with names for the remade levels. Peace.
Hi Robtop, I sometimes experience a glitch with dual mode while playing on mobile, where one of the characters becomes invisible. Will that be fixed in 2.0? It gets really annoying sometimes
Hey rob, can u confirm the amount of levels there will be? I'm hearing 3,4, even 7! I think there's only two, and since we're so close to release I think it's info that can be given. Please? P.S. If you say "secrets" I will only be a little mad
Happened to me too, apparently it occurs randomly. Dont waste your time with it, its a pretty cool glitch And I like the approach your taking with offering freedom, but hopefully people lean more towards making fun levels rather than annoying ones..
Hey Rob, is there a way to "dodge" the trigger(s)? (You're blue key example) Like is it an invisible block you can jump over?
Really wish you were able to be this active for the rest of the update & not just the bug fixing stage! It makes the waiting less painful, even with the "muahaha secrets secrets" stuff! Keep up the awesome work, hope there's only a few small bugs left so the update can be out before my vacation!
It's not a cool glitch. Ruins my gameplay all the time unless the dual part is exceptionally easy. Way too distracting. I agree though, time doesn't have to be wasted on it now.
Game breaking glitch... So i saw video... one guy changed the textures of all blocks to mini size and then just created impossible levels. He really Used to jump between the mini blocks and everyone else have normal sized blocks, which makes level impossible for all others.
Agreed. Not everyone will make troll levels, some of them will work really well, and same thing for placing objects before the starting line/on it, I don't mind the levels that have deco and things there, but I hate it when someone puts a block right in front of the starting position, so you have to jump as soon as you start. Very annoying IMO, but there aren't that many levels like that, so it's no big deal
