RobTop said a few days ago that he's already in the bug fixing stage, and he was hoping to post some new information within a few days. To be honest here, I too wish that he would give us some sort of progress update, but if he's really as close as he sais he is it could be submitted tomorrow...
I know this comment is a day old, but judging from RobTop's previous posts here regarding past updates, the Google Play store gets it approximately an hour or so later than Apple. I really don't know how that works, considering that Apple's review times surpasses all others, but maybe it's because I barely used an Android device in the past.
If RobTop is like any other mobile game creator, he would submit the update to apple first, then once it has been accepted, he will submit it for android (Which takes about an hour to accept) So that both devices will get the update at the same time. Not sure about steam though...
RobTop I summon you to my dream and my life, show me my path and my outcome I welcome you in hopes for help, I cry out to you. Tell me my future and help me through it. RobTop I summon you to follow and lead me night and day be by me, and show me the way So mote it be! pls ;-;
robtop PLEASE tell us... Rob top, the creator of geometry dash, it's an honor talking to you, I want to ask somthing, please tell me when is geometry dash 2.0 coming? please tell me, lots of people are just deleting geometry dash because they are tired of waiting for 2.0 That's why I want to know so bad, so I can tell the people when its coming so they stop deleting it. Please tell me
That's a dumb reason to leave the game. You shouldn't feel sorry for them As for your question, Robtop said he was gonna spill info in a 'few' days (which in Robtop time is a few weeks) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Not necessarily. RobTop said that he was going to post new information in a day or two regarding 2.0 back in April, and he ended fulfilling that promise perfectly. I'm sure he'll release the changelog/submit the update at least before the end of this week.
I'm lucky that I never died at any point in Clubstep that was above 90%, except for a few times in practice. The tricky to beating that section is to remember where the spikes are in that particular sections and either 1) fly as straight as possible to avoid them ( which I did, and I wouldn't recommend doing it, it's kind of risky)), or 2) avoid them accordingly. Also, remember to never panic or be stressed, that's how you end up losing control of your character and crashing it. I hope I helped.
Actually When Rob gets notified that GD update has been reviewed, only then he sends the update to Google Play. They take just some hours to review it
At the end of a demon level, i think is a little difficult to don't get stressed, that moment when you are almost there, the time got slower than before, and you get nervious, and finally you CRASH!
I know, I found out just now from some research I did online. I wish Apple would review their applications just as fast as Android, the problem is that they are overly cautious and literally scan every section of the game to make sure there is nothing bad about it. To be honest here, a game like Geometry Dash shouldn't be reviewed for more than an hour at maximum- the only bad parts about it are level spamming ( which Apple shouldn't even know/care about it) and some minor cursing in the comments sections of online levels.
They probably take so much time to review it because it's Bad Luck RobTop time When he sends it, there are probably like 10 other stupid apps/games (Candy Crush and so on... Gah...) that are still on the review queue I think it's the most logic explanation
I know what you mean. That happens to me sometimes as well, but only if I make it to a portion of a hard level that I can barely make it to or only if it's very, very difficult. Electrodynamix was a perfect example of this- I was extremely nervous when I died at 93% , because it the first time it past the mini ship sequence at 75%. I wasn't too nervous when I almost beat Clubstep, though, because I made it back to 85% almost every single time and knew that. I was slightly more anxious when I was about to beat Theory of Everything 2, because the level is more unpredictable than Clubstep, but I still wasn't too nervous at that mini wave.
