Or maybe it will make the screen shake like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DOCwc62w_0 There are a tons of cool pulsating effects, but we don't know exactly what it does..
I'm with this idea, since the color "pulses" for a second when it's hit. I wonder if it it touch-triggered as well?
Wow. This pretty much confirms that the unknown song is custom music from Waterflame, as if there was ever any doubt though. I'm curious as to how the rest of the song goes and what it's name will be, because it's hard to guess how a level will go without the music.
I agree, the pulse trigger will most likely cause the colours of the platforms to change in the presence of a game mode. It could be cool when making songs that force you to precisely follow the music, as a visual effect. And I'm really hoping that it doesn't make the screen shake, otherwise we would get some seriously headache inducing levels. I have to admit, though, it would go well with the music of Deadlocked...
So what lol? I'm spending 1,600 dollars on a Phunkee Duck. Quick question to everyone: if geometry dash was $10 would you buy it?
This may just be weird but has anyone else noticed that in the Deadlocked sneak peek, Rob's icon's first color was purple, second was yellow. The surrounding objects are the Colors of his icon, so maybe Deadlocked will look different depending on your icon's color? Or it's just a coincidence haha.
Screen shake would be awesome . But Rob said it is related to colour effects. I don't think it's the pulsing platforms in Deadlocked either because we can do this so easily in 1.9
Level End There has been these "Level End" and "Level Start" sprites in the sheets for quite some time now, and I was wondering when those will get put to use? Also, there is a glitch where you can place blocks before the "starting line". Will that get fixed or will you remove the starting line, making it possible to place objects there legit? Keep on keeping on and you're doing a great job
Both of those levels only have player color in the details, the rest of the level is the same, whereas in the sneak peek of Deadlocked, the entire level was yellow and purple just as the player colors meaning that if this is a player colored level, the entire level would drastically change, which is not the case with any previous levels.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Rob confirmed that objects will be allowed to be placed before the "starting line" in 2.0. Whether that means it's being removed, or just opens up that area for blocks to be placed, I'm not sure
Nope, RobTop never said that unfortunately. He said that he can put objects before the starting line ( which is why you can see objects before the starting line in Deadlocked), but everyone else can't because players had a tendency to put objects that made the character crash right away, which looked very buggy. :/ I really wish he would let us place objects before the starting line, level makers are already doing so anyway by exploiting a variety of glitches.
