Still gonna do it! What if it's insanely hard? People will notice me! But..... they will also hate me Still gonna make it!
RobTop,about how many months from now will be there be an opportunity to submit our levels for new map packs ?
As long as there's some kind of drop I think it would be fine Even if there isn't one, you don't really have to do the seizure part so.... it could definitely work!
Yeah, I joined because I wanted to ask Rob a question, and he actually replied to it So now i'm stuck here like you.
Oops. You're right, I wasn't reading the text correctly. I'm sure it was a typo, though, since he usually announces he submits the update to Apple. Either he made a simple mistake and meant to say that it was close to being done, or he is seriously underestimating the time that Apple will take to review it. They take around a week of reviewing for "ordinary" sized updates, but for 2.0 it will be at least 2 or 3 weeks. RobTop could ask for Apple to expedite the review, but it's highly unlikely because there's nothing important such that he would ask Apple to speed up the process of reviewing...
No point in trying to predict the release of the update. Just wait. 'Close' translated in Robtop language is a month or so.
If RobTop said something like that, what would your reaction be? I personally would be screaming internally, because even though I've been waiting for the update for a lesser time than most of the community ( I've only started playing the game in February ), it would still be roughly 5 months of waiting. What would you guys say? Note: The quote above is not real and RobTop had no affiliation with it. So, if anyone is reading this, don't post it somewhere else! We already had enough 2.0 false hope for a while now. Also, this might seem like a dumb question, but what do you think RobTop would say when he submits the update to Apple?
Lol RobtopGames13.. If the update was worth the wait, then that's very good. I hope Robtop adds some cool stuff in 2.0.
I can just picture RobTroll being like, "That might take me a few months, but.... Sure, I'll add it in 2.0
When RobTop say that, i think im going to scream just like you! And jumping for all my house, and kiss my dog
I accidentally deleted the semicolon that separates the numbers of that reside by the quote in question, so it appeared as " RobTopGames13". In the future, I'll make sure not to make that mistake In all seriousness, though, I'm pretty sure, at this moment, he's working on a lot of cool new features that will be in 2.0, be it solely as a visual effect or a cool new game mechanic. It's been roughly 7 months since update 1.9 came out, so it would be twice as disappointing if there were no cool things in 2.0...
Good luck surviving, this community is corrupt Why does it matter? All you need is the seizure-inducing effects..
You scared me so much! Evil (jk) ! I seriously thought RobTop just said that, and I almost jumped out of my seat ! Correction: I did jump out of my seat If he really said that I would take a picture of the post and text it to my friends, but not before I jump out of my seat and yell out "YES ROBTOP YESSSSS" internally ! I've had Geometry Dash for a while, but only just recently have I serious player of GD. Before when an update came out I was like "Cool, a new mode." But now it is a totally different story, I really really want the update to be released and I become hyped and excited . You really scared me !
I personally don't like Nine Circles levels too much. Don't get me wrong, back when Zobros created the first one it was probably a unique concept that nobody has ever though of before, almost like how the new game mechanics/modes in 2.0 will create revolutionary levels. Now, though, they are seriously overused, and RobTop would be able to replace all our current map packs with them if he wanted to. Also, I really don't like all the headache-inducing effects. Not to mention that all Nine Circles levels are really, really difficult... This is just my opinion, so don't get mad at me.
With many Nine Circles levels made, people just associate that epilepsy effect to the Dubstep part. I cant imagine the seizure effect with a classical or ambiental styled song
