RobTop, more information to one of the crashes that occurs in level editing. I noticed that sometimes when I place a crystal/color block/spike or whatever it's called (the ones you can change color using C- OBJ), the block/spike gets completely white. This is like an indicator that shows whether the next object you place that isn't a color block/spike will or not crash the game. If it's completely white like I said, it'll crash.
Hey RobTop! Thanks for rating Etude! I just posted a map called Ostinato! It's a flappy bird map with some variatons! Please check it out! ID: 1262102
Hey again. So i just uploaded Ostinato, and I noticed that this map also got corrupted? I dont know why, but i managed to reupload it and it went fine! I'm on vacation and using pretty rubbish and expensive wireless connection. Can it have something to with a bad connection?
Thanks, I will try to reproduce it and see if I can find the bug Does the upload take a long time? Could be because of a timeout, but it should fail if that happens and not just upload the shortened map. I will have to do some testing.
Hey, the corrupted upload takes as long time as the correct reupload. It's about 15 seconds. It's not a big problem when uploading a easier map, but it would be really frustrating if something really hard that took you long time to verify got corrupted
I uploaded my new level 'Into the deep' ! The ID is 1267316. Here is the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygPyW-XdWOo&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Oh forgot to add, this bug happens after testing your map. Which is why the game crashes after testing your map and placing something.
Zenthic/1mpact, your maps are amazing! I have three questions for you. 1. What device do you play on? 2. What do you use to record? 3. How do you finish your maps so fast? Or more like, how do you get your ideas so fast?
1.Samsung Galaxy S3 2.Screencast, name of a recording apk 3.Well, I just make levels at random, and verify it Sometimes I get some ideas from other people's levels.
Same happened to me too but it happened probably because internet sucks where i am atm. I will try to redo verifying later...
Ok I can't even self advertise on my own level without the comment being hated . Not like I spammed the comment. Why do people hate it so much that I can't even do it on my own level.
Hey. Just wondering if you tried Ostinato? I know that it's a flappy map but I think it's different than the others and it has some variatons. Thanks
I just finished this level "Zeros Game" by TD ZERO (1274091) and can it be worth stars please? i spent days working on it but its not that hard so i would like to see it get support! Thanks
I will check out the new levels in a bit Small update! I have been working on the editor and I think its really gonna help level building. A few examples: - Flip a selected group vertical/horisontal - Undo/Redo for all move commands, flip, rotate etc. - Rotate a group - Free move objects. Just drag and move the object/group when the mode is enabled. Snapping can be turned on/off. - Rotate details freely (used to be 90 degree steps) - Snap detail rotation to match slopes (the new objects) - Max zoom out increased (good for iPad/desktop) - and more! Progress has also been made on the Steam version editor. Keyboard shortcuts are working and really speed up building levels
All of that sounds amazing! I have wanted to rotate groups for awhile now and how will collision work with rotated objects? Like a block rotated into a diamond.
Right now you will only be able to rotate detail objects (no collision) in free rotation. But you can create diamond shapes using the new slope objects.
At the moment no, but I will try to add it. The damaging objects are represented as squares behind the scenes, and collision checking between oriented bounding boxes is different to program.
