Other Ideas I also have some other ideas that I have dreamed of. There is one where you can mix the portal I am about to talk about with any other portal. The portal I am about to say can put you in any direction. It can bring you North, South, East, and West. The only thing I have in mind is the Wave mode. You could use the control keys W,A,S,D, to control it. I was thinking sort of Square type instead of a pointy Wave mode. I also had a dream that seems similar to something that might happen in the future. It was something that I have been thinking that would be in 2.0 ever since I had the dream. You know the dragons? Well, I had a dream about me building in the editor with actual flying dragons staying in place while chomping away Well, not chomping away in the editor but it looked pretty damn cool RobTop please tell me if I am right or not. I bet I am wrong xD
Hey Rob, do you still have a ton of ideas for future updates (like game modes/mechanics) in addition to the couple ones we've been suggesting? Would be interesting to know how much stuff we can look forward to beyond 2.0! Even though 2.0 will easily keep us busy for a while, haha!
I think vertical movement is one of those things like swiping that kinda ruins the one-touch and music syncing... But, anythings possible
There are a few things I have in mind, but nothing I will share yet.. muahah That's not really vertical, its just a mirrored version built to look like its following the vertical path. Vertical would mean that the player is moving up or down on the screen. Again it's the kind of effect that is probably possible, but doesn't have priority since there are so many other cool things that can be worked on instead Thanks, will check it out!
RobTop, I have a quick question: P14y3r isn't here right now, so I'll ask for him: What do you think about white orbs that propel you horizontally? It might be complicated and weird at first, but personally, I think it could be cool.
Hehe don't worry, with the way the community and game is evolving I have enough ideas for many many more updates One big design limitation is that the game needs to be one touch. There are lots of cool things you could do if the game had controls, but since it's one touch things like W,A,S,D aren't possible :/ Would have been fun though! Usually you create random levels when you need lots of content but don't have time to build it. Since the users in Geometry Dash create so many levels there's no real reason to have randomly generated maps. Custom hand made user maps will always be better and more unique than randomly generated levels
