i dont want to appear like i am impatient but i will tell you what i am 99% sure robtop have said a few weeks ago that 2.0 is coming very very soon an update generally is released 1 month after the final sneak peek we know that 2.0 is too close and it will be released in mid-june conclusion: 2.0 is coming between 1 to 3 weeks
But Robtop said, that he wasn't planning on releasing a sneak peek for the second level, but he released it,because he get 1 million likes on Facebook,so maybe he finished the level before he released the sneak peek from it,which means that he could release the sneak peek earlier. But that is just an alternative Hope you understand it
Sure, I'll change the name. Also, I like the straight-down variation of the Red Orb better than the higher jump one. Also, how donnaoe a Blue+Purple if I don't know what a Purple Orb is ??
Hey RobTop, I have a question NOT ABOUT 2.0!!! So,why look the mini cube and the mini ball like the original cube and ball, just in small, but the ship and the UFO look like your choosened? Did you intentionally do it? Or is just...,i don't know. Tell me please
Soooo... It will come out when it's my B-Day? Maybe if I tell RobTop my B-Day Date he will release it then? (Fathers Day)
The mini cube and mini ball probably look the same as the originals because it would take up too much space on the sprite sheet just to have them both animate, and the ship, UFO, and wave don't animate so they get custom mini sprites
Here's what I think: 1. Control. I don't see the problem with controlling a "big" cube. You're certainly right that it could feel clunky and fake, but RobTop could do some testing to get it right. As well, the mini portal is much heavier than the big one, and nobody complains about it. 2. Space. For this one, you are seriously overestimating the size increase of the big gravity ball and underestimating the length and width of your gameplay screen. The average IPhone 5 screen is 1136 x 640 pixels, and the big portal will only make your icon bigger by around 30-40%, which isn't too much, actually. It's only going to be 1.5 times the square, so the big portal will, at most, occupy only about 3-4% of your total screen space. This is a "big" portal we're talking about, not a "gigantic" portal. The picture of the big cube is below this post. 3. Decorations. I don't see how the big portal will interfere with decorations in any way. It only occupies 5% of the screen at most, and unless you're putting your decorations right in the path of the big portal, it shouldn't be a problem. Remember, you're overestimating the size increase, it's a big portal, not a gigantic portal. 4. Precision. The mini mode, in my opinion, requires just as much precision as a hypothertical big mode. The mini ship, for instance, has to be controlled very precisely because it can change gravity a lot with one tiny press. The mini UFO is another example. Don't tell me that the mini UFO section in Clubstep doesn't require a lot of precision, because it does. 5. Blocks. Of course there would have to be new blocks to go with a big portal, just like the mini-one. In Clutterfunk, there were mini chainsaws and spikes to accommodate the size decrease. The same will be done for the big portal, except the blocks will become bigger. Also, I think that due to this idea being very popular on this thread and the other one, we might even see it in 2.1. Please RobTop!
Even better would be if PSJ bans him permanently and locks him into his account. IP banning wouldn't really work, since he could just use another device. PSJ3809, please do something about this guy, it's getting very annoying.
If you slow down the Deadlocked sneak peek you can see when the mini wave change in a normal cube (just before the cube goes into the normal portal), you can see that the small cube is the same as the normal cube. Small normal cubes in 2.0!!!!
Also, you can see that the mini-wave is the same as the normal one, so that's another thing to look forward to. Mini mode customization will probably be applicable to all game modes. I never thought it would happen, though, especially since he said that icons made in mini mode looked ugly.
I hope so... But maybe is there just one mini ball and one mini wave, because if you slow down the Deadlocked sneak peek again you can see if the normal cube changes into a mini wave a new normal wave form.
