Some levels would be impossible in backwards mode if not edited properly with teleporters and such. I also had an idea about RobTop making v2 of every official level which could be unlockable by completing original one and collecting some coins, but he propably won't have enough time for this.
Great Idea! Maybe's have NePtunE's v2's instead. But make his shockingly hard demons slightly more possible hehe
how about this? A music mixing system, you could mix a few custom songs together for your level. Possibly cut parts of one song out to make the level shorter but able to use every part you want without making an extra long level. I was hoping for these in maybe 2.1, and in 2.0 of course, extending the editor like i mentioned before.
RobTop, could you give us an idea of where you are in making update 2.0? We are all waiting patiently #
Robtop is offline right now, dont leave a message after the beep because he wont see it anyway. *beep*
I tougt RobTop could make the levels again in 2.0 like if geometry dash had no official levels. He would recreate them in modern style and make them slightly harder. But Neptunes levels could be another set
Yeah, you should post that again near enough before he comes online because that is a good idea worthy of him seeing #. But this might be a problem. When these 'modern ideas' eventually get old, won't that mean making a v3 which means more work?
I have replicated in modding the Big Portal being so popular. I made the growth of the Player let's say roughly 40-to-50% larger than Normal size and what I can tell you of playing around w/ it is that you have to be more cautious of obsticals because being bigger means you are a bigger entity meaning that one annoying spike can get you if your not looking. I can say for ex: the ship being larger can make flying a bit tougher because you have to look out for obsticals sticking out. It's not to bad of a size difference but I think it is pretty nice. I'm going to give it lets say a 6/10. Ok I am done w/ my 2nd Mod. I have made a replica mechanic of Wave Blocks via nerd modding skillz. It didn't take too long for me to do, all I had to do was have a block not kill the Wave. And I made a mini course w/ the modded mechanic and it seemed fun and that you can use it for cool parts of wave sections. It's a neat add-on and I think it's good to have for your levels. I'll give it another 6/10. I've successfully recreated a request by G-Force through coding and other stuff: the Invisi-Portal. A Effect Portal that: Makes your character look Transparent like the Invisi-Blocks(while keeping your player Icons in shape), takes away player colors, and takes away your player's trail while in the mode. I HAVE messed around with the Portal in the Creator and it to me seems simple but not something you NEED. What I find cool out of it though is that if you have a lot of Invisi-Blocks around you while in the Mode, it makes you harder to see in the crowd so I find that interesting but it could also be useful for not being in the way of decorations of sort. In my rating, I find it's not a necessity but could be put to creative use. I give it a 5/10. And my final and 4th mod for today was the x4 speed requested by Tgneostar. All I can say is that it is CRAZY FAST and that I would only use it for that Dubstep Bass drop in your Dragon/Hell levels 7/10 Rating for x4 speed Portal.
2.0 - v2's of pre 2.0 levels 3.0 - v2's of pre 3.0 levels + v3's of pre 2.0 levels. Yes this would mean a lot of work...
Stop teasing us Is it possible to get a screenshot of the Big Cube, to see what it looks like in a level?
Just putting up all the ones I've done for the past 2-3 Days Edit: Maybe RubRub can put up a picture. 2.1
And btw I'm not teasing anyone I'm just telling you what these ideas are worth based on me recreating them and testing and playing around with them bro.
I meant you're teasing us by telling us the ideas work, but we don't get to see how they actually look, haha
My 5th Mod will be the Vertical Mirror Effect Portal. Bet a certain 2 people in the forum will be waiting for that Lol.
Well, if you're on a computer, you can take a picture of your screen by using command shift 4 on a mac. I don't know how it works on PC, though...
PCs should come with a "snipping tool" that can be found by searching for the name in the Windows Start Menu!
