It's actually pretty easy once you get to know the level. There are many different builds that will get you a perfect on Easy 8, I actually managed to do it using only 6 missile towers total, though it would of course be easier to use more. The easiest opener is to place a laser tower directly under the start (4 orange hexes down, then the blank, put it there), then follow the path along to the right and put another laser in line with the creeps after they go around the corner. From there just start adding missiles and upgrading them to level 6. The creeps shouldn't even be able to escape the first 10 or so hexes. It's a shame that you don't even get any recognition for beating a level with no lives lost.
I'm guessing you've already figured out how to route the creeps the longest way (going clockwise around the edge ant then maze it up in the middle. There are a couple nice spots for lasers. Otherwise it's missiles, missiles, missiles.
Yep tried that with all sorts of combo's of route and laser/missile turrett set ups. Just always get to the point where i get overrun. I will see if i can make the maze more complex and missile their doity little assess off. Total noob question. how do I get a screen grab so i can post a solution?
Here's how I beat Easy 8. It was a bit of an overkill though because the creeps never even reached the final missile towers and laser towers I set up about halfway down the screen on the right side. On M4, I routed the creeps in a clockwise direction around the outer edge. I initially used blasters to set up the maze directing them around the outer edge. I then went back and filled in with missiles and a laser tower, with an emphasis on upgrading the missiles and laser. I never set up the interior maze because I got all the creeps before they started heading inside. To take a screen capture, hold down the on/off switch and home button at the same time.
"The Long Way" is a bit of a misnomer. You hardly have to make them take a long way anywhere... you just set up some missiles and kill them. There is no reason to allow them to hit the speed zones, and they will ignore the health zone if it's not directly on the way to the exit (assuming they can even get that far). M1 and M4 are essentially exactly the same:
really? I beat it first try - that almost never happens on this game I just put down green towers to route them a long path and then a laser at the top and then kept putting down missles and upgrading them and upgraded the laser
I need help on this one too. Ive tried every possible maze combination and tower usage, and i can never beat it.
ARG!!! I still cant beat Medium level 1! Ive tried like 30 times! I can only get to wave 17 (stupid blue pacman guys) Help plz! EDIT: Never mind, beat it with 1 life left
theres a neat solution further up that involves a few gun turrets to syphon the creeps down the left then link lasers to the vortex'
solutions for medium level "Nucleotide???? Medium 9 having a lot of problems on it. Saw the screen shot trying to work around it. but with no solutions. . Can someone help me please. Thanks alot.
Are you kidding me? Not only are there like 3 solutions already posted in this thread, but one of them is a STEP BY STEP ILLUSTRATED GUIDE on how to beat medium 7. Medium 8 has already been discussed as well.
Okay when I have time I will make a link for each solution for a level on this thread so it will be much easier than looking through this on the first post of the front page
That'd be very helpful indeed I suck at this game incredibly badly, I've started just looking at random solutions in this thread and playing levels from there.
M2 keeps eating my lunch i've looked at the screenshots posted of M2 so far, and they make sense in principle, but i'm having a DEVIL of a time figuring out the timing and keeping any of the paltry 5 lives that i'm given for that board long enough to actually get my maze set and to get the creeps hemmed in... is anyone else having this issue? am i missing something obvious? oy.
