M2 Victory Thanks for the tips and insight. On to M3. This is what finally worked for me...I think, no matter what, yellow towers are important. The stars towards the end go so fast that nothing hurts them quick enough. Yellow spread out pushed me over the winning edge.
For those who passed M2, have you found that the latter medium levels are much much easier? I was stuck on M2 for a long time but I've now zipped through to the last of the medium levels. I probably would prefer the levels to be ordered so that they are progressively more difficult.
When you beat Medium 2 with a certain stategy, you will be able to beat the whole game within just 2 or 3 hours. And so I wont tell you the strategy or you will lose the fun
Boy, I sure could use that strategy right now. I've been stuck on Hard 2 for two weeks now! I managed to get to stage 30 once, but the stage 29 creeps were already finishing me off at that point, even though I was more than keeping up with my income. I couldn't even beat it by switching to Novice mode! I have to say, I really like this game. The only thing I really don't like about it is that I sometimes get completely stuck, and there's no recourse when that happens.
But i am not going to tell it anyone, since you can beat almost all Levels, even the hard ones just by..... this strategy, it is much to simple and destroys the balance of the whole game, with it I beat every Level except Hard 8
Just say what it is and people can decide for themselves if they want to look at it or not. Why even mention it if you're not going to tell? Oh right, so you can be the special one that knows the secret.
Sorry if that sounded like that, I did not mean to. But okay, everyone should be aware that this can damage your fun much. But if you cannot beat anything, just try to build a vortex and then always Level 1 Lasers and link them to the vortex. This works, since the lasers only need 50 Energy to do a boostes shot. When more than half of the good spots for towers is full of lasers build another vortex Tower and fill the other half of the spots the same way. Then keep upgrading your lasers until they are on Level 7 and in most levels you should have won even without any upgrades. Building a 1 or 2 Shock Towers may be helpful in quicker levels. I beat every single level with this strategy (except the ones without vortex of course). But remember, only use this if you are stuck for example in Medium 2 and hopeless to reach anything
Interesting, I just tried it on hard 2 and it didn't work, though it did get me to wave 30. It could just be that I don't have the technique down yet, or that I should have used more slow towers (or used something other than just lasers). If this is as game breaking as you say it is, I'm sure it will be patched away in the next update. He just has to raise the cost for a special blast or slow down how fast they charge up.
I finally bought this last night because of Big Albie's Seal of Approval and once again Albie was right! geoDefense is AWESOME! At first I saw the graphics and I was like meh..dunno but let me tell you..the lights, the colors, the female voice counting down are just fantastic. It's one of my fav TD games now. It's a real blast (no pun intended), is easy to use, a real challenge, so I say if you are a tower defense fan or even if you are not, BUY IT!
If you are almost done with a level and cannot spend your money quick enough, take two fingers, one to choose a tower and another just to hit the upgrade button...
Yes you did! So thanks to you too! Now I got 7 cities, The Creeps, Besiegement, Fieldrunners and now geoDefense. I really like them all.
Anyone got a poblem since the new update? Sometimes when i stop the game, wait a while and then continue my vortex towers blow themselves up without reason Has anyone else that problem?
This game is sweet. Its kinda hard (even on easy lvl) and it would be cool if it were a bit more easy to place your towers (meaning, to see where my fat finger is actually putting them). But its a sweet game none the less
No problem, if you have the latest version you can go to the settings and change "place at touch" to "place above touch"
