Most of Apple's favourite games were just big sellers. Even though they must have had a positive opinion on them, I'm sure potential sales influenced it somewhat.
My fear is not that GDS is being treated unfairly. My fear is that "fairly" now means "3 weeks or more to approve and no communication in the meantime". Michael
you have to admit, apples approval process is horribly slow and is making the appstore a joke in many ways. they have to fix it up or they WILL lose dev support, and they'll lose it soon. he has every right to complain, so does every dev.
What's taking so long! The approval process never was THIS slow; at least, before the release of 3.0. It's like they're running a skeleton crew. Because of this, they are probably losing a TON of dev support; especially since they seem to approve games of big name developers a lot faster.
It's August, a very big vacation month (mine starts at 16:00:01 today for example). It's quite possibly Apple is running a skeleton crew in the app approval department. If Apple doesn't fix the approval process, this awesome platform is going to blow up in their faces.

Probably because there's a rush of games now that the 2G touch is about to become "last year"'s device next month? I don't know just a guess. Anyway, when the new iPod touch gets bumped with a new processor and double the RAM, we'll see more new projects from devs springing left and right to make the most of the processing power. Thus devs are rushing in and submitting their current projects, some even hardly polished.(?)
Yep, I got it. It is actually quite fun, but it needs a bit more polish. I spent all my money except for $1, for GD: swarm of course.

Man, it's painful checking this thread and app store several times a day for more than a week. I've left this tab open in Safari for quick access. I just gotta quit torturing myself. I just need to check TA front page occasionally, because this is killing me.
Lol. I wish there's an app that sends push notifications of all releases from your choice of Developers/Game Publishers. That's an idea out for any dev interested. I'll take 5% .
