For that guy who was stuck on Bad plumbing level theres a trick that works on allot of levels i beat it losing only 2 lifes. I massed missile towers but only upgrade them to level 6 level 7 shoots slow but level 6 shoots 3 that can change targets smartly. this actually works on allot of levels besides Hard 1 LoL
I doubt this strategy works. I have tried it numerous times with the same result. FAILURE. Any new ideas would be appreciated. I wonder how many people have actually beat this level. I like a challenge as much as the next guy but this level seems ridiculously hard given the fact you get no information on tower strength with each upgrade.
Maybe I am just not executing it very well. Thought I had followed the plan accordingly but alway seem to fail on the 30th level. Will try again later. Wish I could come up with my own strategy to beat it but there doesn't seem to be one I haven't tried.
I got through Bad Plumbing Medium 8 last night!!! Woohoo! FINALLY! I had to totally change my way of thinking to beat it. That is what is so cool about this game. It forces you to use different tatics to beat each level. I was using too many lasers. When I switched to using more missles I made it further, so I used mostly missles and shockers a couple lasers and no blasters. Wow. This game rocks! Thanks Thundernoob! I did find that out last night. Level 7 missles hurt more than help. I admit, I went nuts with the missles. There were barely any empty spaces left!
Okay I'll try to describe how to win level 9/hard: Begin with the three laser towers upper left (okay after two you'll have no more money just wait a bit for the third one). Put them neatly and exactly in a line with the straight way and connect them each with a vortex tower (put vortex anywhere in the middle of the straight way - don't need to be very exact) and update the lasers once ($7). Update each laser tower just once at the beginning right after placing it. No need to update a vortex tower ever in this level. When you have those three lasers and three vortex installed proceed with the two lasers at the bottom left - again lined up neatly with the first long straight way. Always connect each laser with a vortex and update the laser once (that remains valid for the complete level). Then put a yellow magnetic tower into the first bend and update it once. When you're done with those five lasers, five vortex and one yellow the creeps will be amused for a time. No creep will escape. Now you can relax a bit and have time to build the rest of the lasers and vortex. Begin at the top right as soon as you have enough money. Look at the screenshot where to place them. When you have placed ten laser/vortex combos start to update them more and more (beginning with the first ones), put more of the yellow magnetic towers, build the rest of the combos and throw the missile towers in the center of the screen (same here: each missile tower connect with a vortex) and update them. You have to balance it well out: Updating and building the rest of the towers. There will be enough money. If you have questions please ask.

It's actually really easy once you know what you're doing... I deliberately didn't use vortex, but that will make it even easier. Lost that one life out of laziness, I could have avoided it.
Here is another (simple?) solution to hard9. Two lasers for easy start. Than lvl1 rockets. Than upgrade everything evenly. Some manual targeting during fast levels. All rockets are lvl5!
Ha. Another blaster-free solution for 9/H. It's maybe easier and you made a tiny bit more money. Fine. I am working on a complete different way for tons of money, starting (with placing towers) at the END of the way. I am almost done and will let you know. One thing is sure: It doesn't work with NO missiles (I tried several times with lots of lasers and five or six yellows. No way. Very interesting the rather different approaches. Love that game.
Finished all levels weeks ago and still playing them over again. This game is one of the few games worth playing on iPod/iPhone. Any news of add-ons or sequels?
i am stuck on medium level 4. seems like there is not enough cash to stat. this game is sweet but very hard.
hard 2 How did you get 5 towers plus a shock tower into the upper triangle. I can't fit more than four towers total.
