Geo Defense Strategy

Just press the sleep button (or whatever it's called, the one at the top of the device) and the home button at the same time.

 

We are talking about Hard Level 1 - "The Eye"

I just can't do this level, it's the last one for me to complete for the whole game and it just wont work. I've upgraded to 1.2. Are there any other strats for this level?

 

I wonder if tweaks to the game have maybe made Hard 1 harder than it was? I was surprised to see people stuck on Hard 2, which I found much easier than Hard 1. Hard 1 took me forever.

I resorted to carefully releasing some creeps earlier so they wouldn't compete with guns at certain points.

However, I haven't tried it with the creep focus you can do. I didn't realize that was an option. It's not mentioned in-game is it? I'm a bit worried it could make the hard levels WAY easier. I mean... I thought it was genius to force me to release some creeps on top of each other to change the timing, but most people I guess would never have to do that? Maybe I made it harder than it had to be.

After Hard 1 I found the rest much more manageable, but still challenging. My wife is working on Hard 1 right now.

I've still got version one of geodefence (I think) and I'm stuck on angular view and sneaky snake. does anyone have any tips? I tried putting a block of rockets in the top triangle of angular view and then upgrading this works for a while then no matter what else I do the creeps eventually get through. I wanted to try to beat this before I upgraded. Also any ideas with sneaky snake? I must be missing something obvious.

Hard 1 made me quit playing. Too tough - Spent hours trying to tackle one of the shortest levels in the game.

I just beat every level on GEO Defense on HARDCORE!!!!

I just now beat every level on Geo Defense hardcore....I am a huge defense person, so most of these levels were pretty easy....all the easy ones I just zipped through, then I could get past about 5 of the medium ones and 2 of the hard ones on my first try...

Here is how to beat them:

Unlike most defense games, there is no interest, which really sucks....but to beat most of them its pretty easy....if you have one of the vectors that you can choose, then always go 2-3 laser and a vector, dont level them up...just always connect 2-3 lasers with a vector over and over and then you will win...
For the snake level, which was probably the 2nd hardest level for me I just used missles, all level ones...

THE EYE!!
This was the hardest level ever....I probably played most levels about 5 times till I beat them, but not this one....it took me at least 40-50 tries...
No remember these are all on hardcore, Novice is just way too easy

To beat the EYE!!!!

1. you build 3 (green) cannons, right near the beginning, right after the first str8 part curves down.

2. You upgrade them once each for $2

3. Everytime you get enough money to build another green one, DO IT!!! and upgrade it once. Build it right next to the the other one, so you are slowly building them around the inner circle of the eye.

4. After you fill up the eye, by then you should almost be done, build pretty much whatever you can, I choose to build 2 missles and upgrade a few past level 2 cannons, but its almost over at that point

*TIP* most of the time your guns will fire at the first one it sees and continue to fire at that one. But what you can do is direct any tower at any creep. All you do it click the tower and drag the line ( just like you do for the vector towers to connect them) and make it land on the creep. The tower has to be within range though. Once you do that it will stop firing at one creep and fire at the creep you want it to do....you will have to do this to win!!!!

 

@DavidDavid Boy, I really love this game! Thanks for the tips, tho your tip for the Eye I've done and didn't work for me. I had to upgrade things at the entrance and then sell them to upgrade at the top of the eye, lots of logistical management and relocation/replacement of towers. I DID NOT KNOW I could draw a tower to a creep! THANKS!!!

 

i liked The Eye because it forced me to micromanage, and even if you lost, it was over very quickly.. i had no problem throwing away time playing that level, I would have liked to have seen more smaller levels..

My least favorite were the plumbing levels btw...

 

I cant get past Hard Level 4! Help!

Lol. I thought I missed hardcore mode.
I already finished all levels in 1.1 version (which was much harder than 1.2) and removed it.
I reinstalled app only to find that I was playing hardcore mode too
But now I'll try to beat all levels without loosing single life

 

I was finally able to finish Level 2 on Hard....

I used 2 strategies and they both worked.

 

Hard 2

Here is how you do hard 2. The two lasers in the top right corner, upgrade those to level 6 and leave them there with the vortex. To build the top triangle, lay down a missile tower in the left top corner of it or right. Then put the shock tower in between. Make sure you get the upper triangle correct!! I believe then you upgrade the shock tower to 7. Then work on upgrading the missile towers all at one time per level up. So save up to upgrade them all at once. The last upgrade is 50 each, so since there is 5 up there save up 250. Anything except a shock tower always leave at level 6. After this triangle is complete work on the four next to it and level up all at a time. Then do the bottom, it may get hectic but focus on upgrades not the creepers!! One thumb selects towers, the other thumb should be down by the upgrade button. I have way more images of the winning score just request and i'll see if I have it!

I have a question about this game. I bought it when it was 99 cents and I never got the notification for the 1.2 update. I got a new iphone and when i went to transfer all my apps, it said that it couldnt transfer geoDefense cause it was invalid, i had the cracked version first but because of a piracy program inside the app i bought the original one, and i have the receipt for it. If i "buy" it again, will i get charged the 3.99 that it is now? Anybody knows why i never got that update?

 

Ok, so im gonna "Buy" it again and if i get charged i can still contact apple right? Thanks for the response
