Never loved a beyond affordable gaming subscription as much as Apple Arcade. With that being said the program appears to be headed down the wrong path. More feedback is needed from different demographics. One issue that has nothing to do with gaming itself is the technique the program is advertised. It would be easy to improve the quality of Apple Arcade, bit they obviously are not reaching out to the right players/audience/or demographic. Leaderboards wouldn’t contain two million people at most. Rather the number would be ten fold. I’ll be a subscriber and always will be. There has to be something wrong when people do not pay for a measly $4.99 a month subscription. People have access to an insurmountable amount of games at $4.99 per month. Unfortunately some who go for Angry Birds or Candy Crush pay $99 a pop for IAP, and don’t even know that many outcomes are predetermined.
Yes, Apple Arcade seems unbeatable value especially if looking to broaden one’s gaming horizons. Glad they didn’t go down the $9.99 pm route, and also that they didn’t fill it with clones of existing stuff already available in the store. It’s great to see boundaries being pushed with projects like South of the Circle and Alba, together with AAA’s like Beyond a Steel Sky. There are some misfires of course. Chronos Dungeon was disappointingly retro by comparison. I’m still working through the Arcade content, currently playing The Otherside which is a sort of board game version of Stranger Things.
Thanks for the heads up, made a thread here, looks like release is March 5th: https://toucharcade.com/community/threads/sp-ng-by-smg-studio.413538/

I see some classic games have been added to apple arcade. I have a question. I have chameleon run and I see that it has been added to apple arcade. What is the benefit of getting it on apple arcade. I already bought it. Why would I need it on apple arcade?
You don't. It's just exactly what it is. Chameleon Run on Apple Arcade. In fact, I worry about that as a new iOS gamer mentality. "Why should I buy this if it's gonna end up on Apple Arcade anyway?" Terrifying. Also, since this is a thing...two way street please: Anything that ends up on AA should be purchasable outright.
