Holy shit Sector 11's boss is tough... those 6 EMP balls that chase you is so annoying. They move so fast and having to maneuver in a bunch of plasma shots is really hard.. Any tips?
What is the difference with the colour of the items opened? I have seen players with green, amber, purple items on their ships I have been unlogging serveral classsified cargo but they all open up to be green. Can anyone advise? Purple and yellow coloured items seems to have better stats.
I finally understand the bug why sometimes elite units will fly off the screen, and why no one else complained about it. It is simply because your ship is overpowered and kills normal units way too fast, somehow it triggers the bug. Hope this will help developers fix it in the next update.
Not sure if it's just me, and sorry if this a known issue, but every time I upgrade items now, ui freezes, all except one button, "add credits", which presents the standard IAP options, if I cancel, it returns me to the item screen, but suddenly, I have thousands of blue/basic credits I didn't have before. With ui now unfrozen, I try to upgrade an item, I get an error that says I'm accessing game from multiple devices and logs me out to main screen, log in again, same issue. Thing is, I just got the game today and only own one device. Reboot didn't fix, reset data option didn't fix, guess its something with my account. Only played through first sector, but seems like upgrades are a vital part of the game. Too bad, was enjoying it.
I haven't received any gold items yet and only one purple so far. The gold boxes however always drop rare green items.
Will there be a fix to make it playable on iPhone 4 anytime soon? I updated it but it did not warn me that the game will lag after the update
I wonder if there's any progress on the permanently convert online account to offline account option. The devs said they are planning to add it on a future update. Hope it comes soon!
Decided to give this a try last night while listening to that free U2 album. All in all a pretty good experience. The gameplay seems a bit generic overall... but I played through the first boss so I'm hoping that it gets more interesting as it goes on. I'll give it another play tonight (or sometime soon) before deciding if this is a keeper or not... but considering it's published by Armor Games (and I love much of what they have published) I had to give it a try. Honestly the mix of U2 and this was really good. Some of the songs really fit the gameplay.
A fun game, but there's a few things I've noticed: 1. The Shock Phantom ship doesn't fire those EMP missiles every 2 seconds like it says. It's more like every 6 or 7 seconds. 2. Some of the ally ship names are odd and a couple have been downright profane and offensive (seriously, f***off! is a name?). As for the allies themselves, they are way too fragile. Many times they only last a few seconds, even those with the low-health shields. 3. Maybe add some kind of buyback option in case you plunk down your hard-earned credits on a ship and it turns out to be something you don't like (i.e. the Shock Phantom).
Has anyone else had problems with their GameCenter data converting? I have competed most if the trials but they don't show up. The game is very addicting.
Game is decent at first but it's even more fun when you start getting more gear. Start trying to collect chests of loot and switching ships. You'll realize this game has a lot to offer ON TOP of a fun story AND an amazing soundtrack that transitions well between scenarios. The game is best experienced with headphones
I appreciate the feedback on the game. I actually was using headphones last night when I played. I just already had plans to listen to U2 so I figured I'd play a game at the same time. I have already heard much of the soundtrack by watching a little of one of the videos in the thread (I think it was Redribbon's) and it is indeed really well done.
Sorry, haven't been following the thread much but was wondering if there's been any mention of relative touch being added as a control option. I downloaded and played a bit, but didn't care for the controls and was confused about on/offline play. Thinking about giving it another shot if control options are added. Thanks in advance for any info.
I heard other players' ships can show up to help. That'd be them. So that would be their fault. The names, at least. They are adding relative touch. Next update I think.
Maybe I'm just really bad a this game, but I'm having to grind a lot even to pass level 7. And I fail nearly all of the bounty/royal cargo missions. The beam weapons absolutely murder me. I can only run to the top of the screen to avoid them. Missiles I'm trying to counter with missile reducers. Do you guys recommend grinding at lower levels for boxes or try moving up to harder levels for better loot? What are some good accessories? I'm currently running: Scatter shot, photon bolts (shoots straight), heal when picking up gems, missile reducer (also gives lots of +dam +armor).
