So I'm on iOS 7 now. Does anyone know if this emu is also available in Cydia? I'd like to install it without wondering if I'll have problems with the date and all that.
I tried using drop box but it just says "only a limited number do access tokens available while the app is in development mode" is there a workaround for this?
Was just about to post about the syncing issues. The exact message is: Error Authorizing App Only a limited set of users can receive access tokens while this app is in development mode. Glad to hear they are working on a fix! Other than the syncing problems this has been surprisingly awesome.
The dev announced he will package it for cydia so us JB people i read on reddit. Check the jailbreak thread on Reddit.
Haha, I should post pics of mine and my games (just to establish legal standing) but that involves digging them out of the plastic bin for old consoles and games in my garage! I have that one there and the clam shell one, both of which still work!
How do you play Mother 3 in English? I found a site with the patch but it seems that the patch only works for Mac, PC, or Linux, and not iOS?
Having trouble getting my controller to work with gba4ios2, what controllers are people getting to work? using steelseries free
Did you miss where I clarified that? GBA emulation has been around on larger monitors than the original GBA for a very long time. Most emulators employ linear filtering to smooth video, making everything less blocky and text easier to read. This is not uncommon. Both of the GBA emus on Cydia for jailbroken devices employ it. iOS 7 itself seems to use a similar feature to improve the visuals/text of 2x iphone apps. As I noted twice, if you are jailbroken and have this emulator run in iphone 2x mode, it kicks in the iOS 7 filter and fixes the issue! If you go into GBA.emu and turn the filter setting OFF (it is on by default), everything looks like it does in GBA4iOS. Isn't it slightly more logical that this is a small oversight of an otherwise common feature, rather than "hurp derp GBA gamez are pixelated n00b!" I sent Riley a message on Twitter to see if it's something he would support. Not to be rude, or demanding, or disrespectful of free apps. Just simply to ask. Broglia's name is in the darn credits for the app, and HIS emulator employs this by default. It IS a fair question. This is GBA4iOS 2.0, default and as far as I can tell currently unalterable. This is GBA.emu with filtering manually disabled in the video options. Looks basically the same. This is GBA.emu with linear filtering on, by default. Full screen if you can to get a clear picture. Obviously if you're viewing on an iphone it may not look like a big deal to you, but on ipad and desktop it does make a difference. That is exactly WHY most emulators, especially of portable hardware, have filter options to begin with.
