Check their twitter. I thought it was all working now, i think it said dont set your date back now, install it, then set your date back before you run it for the first time

But like i say check Riley's twitter account. I dont tweet or that (not someone to take pictures of my breakfast or rubbish like that to the world !) but i find it useful following developers etc for updates

Indeed I am. I updated, like a good little panda!

And now I get burned, like the city of Athens circa 1300 BC. :(

I tried every possible permutation of downloading and setting the date. Set the date after downloading, set the date before downloading, removed the enterprise certificate.

The problem is when I download it, it says the thing can't install. If I try to set the clock back and then download it, it doesn't even get past the "Waiting" part.

My friend has a 5th gen iPod with iOS 7.0.4 and can't seem to get GBA4iOS 2.0 to work. The correct method is to use the current automatic date to begin the install then going past Feb 18 2014 to finish the download right? I have tried doing that and I constantly get a "could not be downloaded at this time" error. If the date is altered before trying to hit the download on the site, it says "could not connect". How do you get the download to go through and install?

I cannot dl gba4ios 2.0. I have tried everything. I do not get a install box that pops up, instead I get a box that says cannot connect to gab.coolrom.com. I have tried setting the date back to feb 12, 2014, etc. Is anyone else having this issue?

What are the best horror/mystery RPG or action games on GBA? I can remember Friday 13th of Commodore but I wonder if there are any on GBA

You should follow them on twitter, they said there was some recent problems and they're trying to fix it. Hopefully should be working for people now ?

    Recent trouble with gba4ios?

hi guys, i apologize if this is the wrong section to post this thread in but i couldnt find an official troubleshooting site to discuss gba4ios problems and mine is a bit unusual

basically my problem is that the app itself works fine but whenever i download it it makes my imessage useless. whenever i try to text someone with imessage it sends halfway, fails to deliver and stops. i can force it through as a text message and the recipient gets it but im unable to see their replies. android devices work fine tho, i can see their replies. ive isolated gba4ios as the problem because it only happens when i install the app. i had my first experience with gba4ios about 2 months ago and it was working fine; my imessage was working great. i was playing pokemon and made a screenshot in the app to send one of my friends and then thats when it started messing up. when i sent the picture the previous problem happened, i.e sends halfway and fails to deliver. i couldnt for the life of me figure out what was causing this issue so i did a lot of googling and i found a thread where someone told me to reset my vpn settings and delete gba4ios cached vpn and after i did that and deleted the app it worked

but yesterday i downloaded the app again just to see if it would work this time. i set the date back one day and downloaded the app and texted a friend with imessage and it messed up again. except this time when i went to the vpn settings on my phone there was nothing there at all so i started to freak out because that's what fixed the issue last time. this time i just deleted the app and put the date back to normal and it worked. but then i was iffy about the date thing being the issue so when i deleted the app i turned back the date one day, texted an imessage user and it went through so obviously the date isn't the issue. you guys have any ideas on what i could do? my phone is a 4s running ios8

tbh... ehhh. ive considered downgrading but the new features are nice. the phones performance is very subpar tho

there are a couple annoying glitches that occur, for example when you double tap to open up the apps if you do it really fast or too slow the app screen opens and then immediately closes back to the app you were last in so it makes switching apps kind of annoying cause you have to do it 4 or 5 times. the battery life is also horrendous, seeing as my battery is already old and needing replacing ios8 just made it that much worse. from a full 100% charge if im using apps or browsing safari i can go from 100-20 in like an hour and a half. a 4s with a new battery would probably be slightly better but i still would not recommend it. basically you need to always be shutting your apps down religiously or your battery will be draining constantly

there are also a lot of problems with ios8 updated apps. since the apps are designed around a 5/6/6plus phone screen the text can appear a little large or small on the 4s, also ios8 updated apps can crash pretty frequently i guess due to the 4s's older hardware. im trying to think of other glitches ive experienced... oh yes the most glaring one that i forgot to mention is lag. my god it makes the 4s so laggy which probably explains the app opening issue. whereas in 7 it took maybe half a second to open safari now it takes almost 2, everything is about twice as slow in terms of response time. playing music and opening a web browser is almost impossible, more specifically if you're listening to music from a youtube video in the background and trying to use an app. its so slow that its basically impossible, it freezes for like 10 seconds and my phone just crashes. also definitely turn off the text predicting feature that apple implemented in 8 because it just makes texting twice as laggy

overall i would not recommend upgrading to 8 on the 4s unless you have an exceptional battery and are ok with the laggy performance. im okay with mine because i will be getting a 6 soon and i really love some of the new ios8 features, such as no more clicking "load earlier messages" in text threads, its automatic. plus the time lapse camera is pretty nice and there are a lot of more small subtle things that i like

would you still mind checking? im not sure if i clarified or not in the op but this was happening on ios7

Did you set the date forward again after launching it? Texting breaks unless the date is reasonably correct.

Didnt iOS 8.1 put a lid on the date exploit which GBA4iOS was feeding on?

Just tried, it doesn't work. When installation finished it prompt with message that application can't be installed and if you want to retry. Changing date have no effect.
