Here is a modified skin which shrinks the game screen and moves the controllers up to a little more natural position. You can install it directly from Safari, just select Open In GBA4iOS. GBA4iOS will close after installed. Relaunch, and select the new landscape skin. Enjoy. DL link: http://ge.tt/api/1/files/74onYuK1/0/blob?download
Does it work with other installations? I added this to the emulator and it shows up, but the game is still fullscreen.
Lots of talk of the GBA games here but dont forget the classic monochrome .gb or the gameboy colour (gbc) games. Many great ones plus tiny filesizes. Operation C (Contra), Gradius (Nemesis), Double Dragon, Super Mario Land I, Batman were all classic original gameboy games. Many more available
Tried exiting, changing app, opening GBA4iOS and resuming Pokemon Yellow and seems fine after a few goes. But don't know if its more of an issue if you have been playing for a while. I'm using an iPad Air.
I second this. Lets not forget the amazing Tetris! The original gameboy is still my favourite version and the Bach music brings back so many good memories of childhood.
Yeah i mean for me just having Super Mario Land/Tetris/Batman is worth it alone. That tetris game plays so well, much prefer the monochrome version to the GBC version
I can't find Super Mario Land on there. Where would I find that because it's one of my favorites from the original GB as well.
When you go to add a game using the emulator its only for GBA games, so click on the 'back' button and go to another rom site and search for .gb or .gbc games. I've got 100's on mine. I cant obviously give you a direct link but you should easily be able to find it
Can't get it to work, as soon as I hit 'open in GBA4ios' it closes the app right away and when I reload it, the skin isn't there. (Yeah, I put the date back but it still does it)
Actually, if you click to gbc in the rom selector before hitting the add button, it takes you to he site's gb/c page.
I cant speak for iPhone, but I rebooted my iPad mini this morning and had no issues with the emulator.
Ditto. Just crashes out and no skin present. I have no idea how some folks are getting this to work...
I got it to AFTER I changed the date back to January 2014. But then after I changed date/time back to automatic it worked fine. So, don't know why I had to do the date thing again or how to avoid it in the future. But, hey, the skin is nice! Thanks!
I've now deleted this, sadly Why? Well feel free to call me paranoid but it seems since installing this I'm getting strange error messages when browsing my usual sites. Like this.. Which is very odd considering I never EVER use fb or even have an account, the only odd thing I've done to my ipad recently is use this emulator.. I'm presuming it has something to do with it, hence deleting it.
On my phone the skin is there, but somehow the R button is not where it is suppose to be. Its hidden somewhere near the right side of the menu button.
Transfer Savegames? Hello, I noticed some .SAV files of my DSTT card from my DS games. Which leads me to two questions: 1. Are the save games of the GBA emulator also separate files? 2. Do the GBA emulators use the same file format? Which means, can we transfer the savegame from one emulator to another emulator? I'm thinking about transferring save games from the iOS emulator to the dstt gba thing from my DS. Bye, Oliver
