Is the mother 3 rom in English? If so then I don't care I'm impulse downloading GBA4iOS 1.6 (don't feel like upgrading to iOS 7)
Yeah it's strange as when you play an old gameboy file (.gb) it does that. Just for gba it's full screen
As far as gameboy color games go, apart from usual Pokemons, Zelda and Mario, mainly for RPG crowd I would recommend this games : - Another Bible ( RPG / English translation avaliable ) - Castlevania Adventure ( and other titles ) - Daikatana ( RPG / adventure ) - Deja Vu I & II ( old school adventure ) - Dragon Warrior 1,2,3 and Monsters ( best RPG for gbc ) - Great greed ( RPG ) - Shadowgate Classic ( old school adventure )
I searched this thread and didn't see anyone mentioning this, so I will. When you press the + button on the main screen to download ROMs from CoolROM, you *can* navigate away from CoolROM, just in case you like your ROMs from somewhere else (or want translations of Japanese games). Simply press the back button on the top bar, and you find yourself at a Google search screen! Just navigate to whatever site you desire!
Good tip. I think I also ready that you can just download zip files in Safari or any iOS browser and just choose to open it in GBA4iOS.
Yes FINALLY I can play Fire Emblem Sacred Stones again. If that "control enemies" glitch works too... man, probably not gonna get another iOS game for a long time.
Anyone knows this game? I thought it was final fantasy tactics but it isnt. I used to play it when i stillhad a gba. It does looks like ff or other strategy game. Its the same setup, but you had like 200 or 300 missions that you could complete.. Any clue what game that was?
I absolutely disagree. Like I said. The other two main gba emulators (and apparently RetroArch as well) has the filter option set on by default. I've never had an issue. I've never looked at the screen and said, "wow, so blurry, I hope I can dig around in the settings and make this look exactly like a blown up GBA game." And I am a little puzzled as to why it went wrong with this release, but I'm not a developer. I'm not going to troll Riley or make demands for a free app. So, it's simply on my "wish list" for a feature I'd like to see in the future. It does strike me as odd that the developer for GBA.emu is listed in the credits for this app, and the developer for gpSPhone seems to have worked with Riley in some capacity, yet so standard a feature (Visual Boy was doing this on desktop 9 years ago at least) didn't work here. But yea, minor complaint. I'm jailbroken, so I used another app to put this in a "canvas" mode which allows ios7 to filter it. I love the in-app downloader, organization, and Dropbox support. No more lost saves if you have to restore! Just, as an ios jailbreak user who has been using gba.emu and/or gpSPphone since iPad 1, and gpSP on my cfw PSP for years with filters enabled and perfectly fine, I did notice the lack of such right away.
So I just updated my ipad mini to 7.0.6 and now this app is rendered useless. It will not even open now?
Every time someone posts this, someone else reminds them to put the clock back to the start of this year, any date in January is fine, before starting. Did you do that after upgrading?
Nope none of the 2... already tried them.. Wow.... my brain is failing.. From what I remember You it was unlocking the missions (squares) and you could just jump to those on a screen.. it showed like a square with 1 ... 100 on page 1.. I'm getting old.... lol
