They are .sav files in my Dropbox folder not .sgm. If there is an existing .sav you can try copying your file in and name it the same as the existing one. Or delete the folder, copy your sav over with iexplorer and then it will sync it to Dropbox next time you launch the app. Its a cloud based storage app. So if you have multiple iOS devices you can sync savegames between them.
TA staff posted a link on the front page. Please standardize rules across the whole site to avoid confusion.
Yes, 1.6. He said he has a friend who is reluctant to upgrade to ios 7. I've had no compatibility issues with 2.0
The article didn't list other rom sites like people in this thread have (just the one in the app itself). Nor did it list direct links to certain roms which has happened in this thread. Is that okay or is it still confusing ? Let's be real here. Other rom sites are easy to find bit you don't go listing them on forums
Just smear some vasoline on your screen. Same effect. But seriously, most filters are just not good or effective. The better filtering options seem to never be employed, probably due to performance issues?
Dropbox syncing is working now and its incredible! Works effortlessly now! Nearly half way through emerald and its great to have the option to play on my iPad when home.
Question: do you guys experience bugs when exiting the app to use another app and then going back on it? It freezes up Pokemon Yellow :/
Even after GBA4iOS 2's release, I still use RetroArch for my emulator needs. Despite my immense love of GbA4iOS's haptic feedback and Dropbox sync, I just can't get over how it looks. Even if Riley fixes the odd distortion in landscape mode soon, it still won't have ntsc filters. I really hope that at some point Riley considers adding filters. I know I can't speak for everyone, but I believe that they can add a lot to the authenticity of the experience. Of course, they're not for everyone. Here's a side-by-side comparison of how my RetroArch setup looks compared to GBA4iOS. Link
Yep - my iPad2 has had iOS7 since the day in came out and I've never experienced any problems. Works like a charm with gba4ios too.
The Dropbox sync function is amazing. This app just keeps getting better and better. At the risk of sounding ungrateful, I do have one suggestion that I think would would make this app even more amazing. I'd really like a configuration that let's you play on the iPad in landscape with the buttons on the left and right edges and a smaller game screen in the middle. For me, it's more comfortable to play in landscape, but when the game is zoomed all the way to full screen the graphics get a blocky mosaic look. I think a display size that's just a little bit smaller than the portrait mode would be perfect.
