Here's an example, with button size set to max on iPh8: My guess is they adjusted buttons to the iPad screen size and don't really give a damn about the games, so they decided to abandon the old versions and rerelease them without the online component since nobody plays them anyway (automatch in KoF-98 will most likely match you against a friend if you ask them to search for a fight at the same time as you do). A wild guess is their DotEmu partnership expired or something, therefore dropping support and shifting to ports of their ACA catalogue.
