I think you have to find all of the hidden health packs, armour, etc, in order to have 100% completion.
Well, he's completed all of the achievements and they include finding all the hidden health packs and armour.
I have just discovered a nice little trick that I used to do in GTA games. If you have cops shooting at you, go and stand behind a pedestrian who is normally agressive in the game (i.e - a gang member, the white lady in jean-shorts, the black hooker in the leapoard skin etc etc), and then make sure that the cop shoots at the person you are standing behind, then they will go and attack the cop. It is pretty pointless, but can be quite funny. I am just suprised that this level of detail has been included in a GTA clone.
Did you do the Italian OR Japanese missions. I was able to do 2 or 3 for the Japanese and the rest of the Italians. Maybe that would make up the 8% you're missing? Also do you have to do something in the taxi, ambulance and food delivery missions to get the 100%?
Taxi, ambulance, food delivery, health packs, armour, etc. - all achievements are complete. As far as the missions go, like you said I made sure to alternate after each mission to do as many as it would allow me to. Itialian, Japanese, Italian, Japanese, etc until it wouldn't allow you to do the other. I'm assuming it's those 3 exclusive missions that make up that extra 8%. maybe there's a way to trick it but I'm out of ideas.
it's a shame after beating the game it doesn't allow you to go back and complete the remaining missions + the ones you've already beaten. I was expecting that. probably solve the elusive % points you can't seem to get. unless.... there is something really hidden that no-one has found, but i rather doubt that.
Hey guys. Has anyone ever seen a double-SMG in the game before, that is, a SMG in each hand of the character (so holding SMGs at the same time). I've just got it after killing a civilian. I looked in the Gun Store and they don't sell double-SMGs. I've just got the game so I'm not sure if this is a rare weapon or not. I could post a screenshot, but I don't know how to. I want to insert an image from a file on my computer, but it only allows me to insert images that have a URL.
Yea. Double Pistols and Double SMGs are very rare weapons in this game. Only appears in 1 out of 1000 copies of the game.
C'Mon guys! No mercy on these forums. You can't buy it but I think it is commonly picked up through the course of the gameplay.
Actually if you buy two SMGs you'll get the option to hold one in each hand, it's the same with pistols.
I know this has been posted before, but I'm desperate and don't want to look through dozens if pages. How do I finish the last mission in Gangstar? I've tried a million times to beat it but no luck. I seem to lose the guy when he's on the beach he just goes too fast there. Btw is there anyway I can replay the missions once I'm done? Because I didn't see any option.
if you've gotten to the beach, you're most of the way there. I posted a map of his entire route for that mission on page 106. You'd probably be fine just driving on the road along the beach as long as you're parallel to him. As far as replay, there is no option to directly access previous missions. Once you've beaten the game you're expected to start a new one if you want to see those missions again. Starting a new game will not erase your achievements or stats, aside from obviously erasing your chapter achievements. It's a bit of a bummer but, as they're discussing ad naseum on the Modern Combat thread, Gameloft rarely updates their games - even though direct level access post completion doesn't sound too difficult to implement.
Only thing with these games holding them back is multiplayer. Even a boring game like GTA4 turned into gold once you had two teams running around with rocket launchers or doing drive bys.
Still not yet done with this one, i'm talking my time what i enjoy best here are the races, it's sooooo random, no 2 races are the same and i love it!
There's so many levels of failure in this post, it's amazing. I'll give you a hint - what happens when you pick a second pistol from a dead civilian/gunshop?
