That's interesting, never thought of that. Could well be the case as this is likely a memory and CPU intensive game.
Wow, the more I play, the better it gets! I'm not much of a fan of playing missions, but finding secrets and glitches is just as fun. However, I do feel that Gameloft could have taken advantage of a 3GS specific version that could have further draw point, more cars, and more AI on screen. But still, in all honesty, Gameloft has blown me away on this one, and I play a lot of top end games. I'm still playing though and only at 30% after 5+ hours of gametime!
there is a new icon for gangstar. much nicer! How can i get this without loosing my game progress? Any idea?

This game rocks. Only played it for like 30 minutes. Trying to limit how often i play, to prolong the experience. If you are reading this and you are on the fence with this game, get it!
looks like i have the reverse effect of rebooting i did not rebooted my iphone when i installed gangstar knowing that others exprience lags and freezes but now,since i rebooted my iphone i frequently experince lag issues and especially freezing issues i wonder what causes these things but for me, this is still a great great game even it is not perfect b'coz nobody's perfecr although practice makes perfect hahahahaha
Turn off PUSH notifications in your settings. Worked like a charm for me. Noticed a performance increase on several games.
I do like this game but I'm one of the many people getting a lot of freezes. I've restarted, turned off push notifications, cleared memory. Sometimes it's fine, but today I'm getting constant freezes no matter what I do. I am not jailbroken, 3G, never had any problems like this with any other title. Some games need a restart once in awhile, but not like this. It's ridiculous. Restarting this game wouldn't be so bad if it didn't take so long to do. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to play a game. With all the problems being reported I gotta hope Gameloft does something to fix this. In my opinion this game is broken. i hope they fix this great game...it needs it.
another problem that can be fix,i think,is the loading of cars,civilians and other things, when you look in front,you will see no one,then when you move a little,a man will appear another little steps and a car will also appear object loading is slow sometimes i don't want to be followed by policemen because I'm in a mission then suddenly people will appear in front of my car and killed by no other than me,hahaha this is just one of the problems Gangstar have but i tell you I LOVE THIS GAME!!! hahahahahahaha any improvements in the future... then I'LL DIE FOT THIS GAME!!!(just joking i don't wanna die,hahah)
Does this game lag on iphone 3g? Is there anyone with iphone 3g that doesn't expericence any lag/freezing?
