Awesome game. After following the thread and reading the SlideToPlay review I caved just now. And it's as good a version of GTA as I could imagine on IPhone. Just a quick question - when I first installed, the Gangstar icon displayed correctly, but I immediately restarted because I had read of some people having difficulties with lag. Since I restarted it, the game runs perfectly and silky smooth, however the icon is now the Galcon icon... WTF? Has anyone else had the problem of an icon displaying the image of another installed app, instead of its own? I have an unjailbroken 3G btw
Yea thats a common problem - there's a fix but it involves deleting the app and your saved game file (I think) If theres a way without deleting the save game tell me because mine is currently "Trace"
No, you don't need to delete Gang$tar. Delete a small app that you don't mind losing data on (I usually pick the Weather Channel app). Then, reinstall the same app you deleted. As soon as it says "loading" click it to pause. Do a hard reset (Home button + Power button). When it reboots, the icon will be grey. Tap it to start the download again. After it is downloaded, all of your icons will be fine.

Quick question guys. I wanna get this game, but the only reason I want this or any other GTA game is because of being able to run around on the street and kill random pedestrians and civilians and then run from the cops. Does it have this?? along with crazy weapons?
how do i do those glitches so i can go up on the roof? I tried to get glitched but i only got stuck in a building. I thought you could end up on the roof and move around.
yes you can kill anyone you would like. There are....i dont remember the exact amount but theres 6 i think. Dont remember how many. But i really recommend you get this game.
