What happened to the sex tape + prostitution/pimp misssions? I am only up to chapter 4. Has anyone played any of those missions?
Now getting the hang of the stick controls when driving. Love the sniper rifle. Plus 1 for multiplayer, entering selected key buildings or rooms and day/night frames.
Once upon a time I used to carry three separate devices with me because each device did its particular job particularly well. I had a Dell Axim X50v for my PDA, an iPod for music, and a Treo for my phone. The Axim was the créme de la créme of PDAs, the iPod was the de facto king of PMPs, and the Treo was the best of the smartphones. I liked having things that were the best in one particular area rather than all-in-one devices that were merely mediocre at all of them. Then I got a 16gb iPod Touch. It replaced my 5G iPod. It was great, though short on space (which I eventually solved by upgrading to the 32gb when it came out) and the jailbreak scene was pretty cool and getting better all the time. But it wasn't enough to replace my PDA, which still ruled at gaming and general PDA stuff. I did get a 1G iPhone though, and that was enough to replace my Treo because it did what I used my Treo for and more. Then I upgraded to the 3G shortly after the App Store went live, and was finally convinced that the iPhone was the superior to my Axim despite a slower processor and lower resolution. I sold my Axim and merged down to two devices: My Touch 32GB and an 8GB iPhone 3G. Both served me very well. Then the iPhone 3GS came out. 32GB, same as my iPod Touch. I now no longer had a reason to keep the Touch, so I sold it. Now I carry around just one device that does everything I used to carry 3 devices around for, and does each of their jobs as well as or better than they did. It proved to be the only device in existence capable of doing so. You'll notice I never included a portable gaming system in there. That's because while they generally have higher quality games, that's all they do well. Everything else -- web browsing, music, videos -- is secondary, and it shows. As attempts to be all-in-one devices they suffer the same problems each of the three devices I originally had did: They did one thing well but everything else either average or poorly. I never bought a game system because while the quality might have been better, there was still loads to recommend portable gaming on a good PDA. Now, there's loads to recommend portable gaming on an iPhone, and since it performs its iPod duties as well as an iPod, it does that superbly, too. So now that I have a single device that does everything exceptionally well, the question that must be put to you, in light of your argument, is: What does a PSP offer me that I can't get on the iPhone already? Why should I bulk back up again carrying one of those around when my iPhone does everything I want it to do very well? The PSP has better graphics? To a large degree, at least when comparing it to 2G iPods or the iPhone 3G, granted. Buttons? Sure. But neither reason strikes me as good enough to support the idea that I should carry one of those around for gaming. (Let's ignore the PSP Go) Furthermore, the 3GS (and 3G Touch once it's out) offers the potential for games that are actually superior to the PSP, and I guarantee it won't be long before rechargeable bolt-on joypads are available to offer real buttons. So what reason could I possibly have to buy a PSP?
I already finished the main story missions, there is one mission in chapter 5 that you have to pick up some prostitutes, other than that theres no sex tape.
I just managed to get into the 'Plywood' film studios. Altough I didn't exactly get in there, I floated over the top I had to drive my car fast at a 45 degree angle to the game then jump out and immediately run backwards into the wall. Then you can just walk/float on top of the studio complex.
If anyone is still having lag or freezing issues try this. I think someone already mentioned this, but invade it was overlooked I'm posting it again. I using an iPhone 3G, 8 gig, firmware 3.0, 50 mb of harddrive left . So basically I kept trying to play the game using my iPod playlist and I experienced constant freezing and lag. Out of curiosity I restarted my game leaving the the playlist option on none. And after this simple change my game has been running smooth. Hopefully this can help someone out there who's having trouble with the performance of this game.
seriously, if you haven't bought it do it. the only things i wish they had were stores you could go in, night, and helicopters/tanks.
I wish the Gun, Car, etc. shops would show up on the radar like the race spots and mission objectives. Other than that, I've had a fun experience with this so far.
i dont know if everyone knew this already but i just figured this out this morning.haha you can move the camera around to change your view by swiping anywhere on the screen! haha i dont know why it took me so long to figure out..... and as for my problems with lag......it came back. i think now its for sure the RAM er whatever from opening other apps er safari first. i restarted my phone n opened up gangstar first.....works like a charm.
It would be if I could see any people lol, that was the first thing I ever did in the game. How could you not realise it? You know that you can do the same while driving, right?
WHILE DRIVING??!! hahaha geez.....i think i was just too caught up in it all.haha now my gangstar can look around as he pleases......
Anybody notice that the black guy with dreads is supposed to be Lil Wayne? Look at the body tattoos lol.
This is the review I posted for Gangstar on iTunes. Do you think gameloft will listen to my suggestions? Lol.. What do you think?
pretty good.....i agree with you that people dont even need to look at reviews...when i bought this i relyed entirely on my love for GTA games
