It's only $7, so I'm tempted to just buy it to see the quality of the graphics and get a sense of what's possible on the iPhone. On the other hand, I've played enough of these sorts of games to know that they're usually not fun once you get past the 'cool' factor. I mean, the gameplay mechanic of running around a city killing people is starting to lose it's appeal (unless you're a young teen living in the suburbs, evidently). And the writing and 'atmosphere' in this game are probably terrible. I mean, I know for a fact that my two most recent purchases, Spider and Lion Pride are probably both more enjoyable portable games. So, I'll probably wait for impressions on this one.
I don't really consider driving around aimlessly (or however you spell it) to add much to the length of the game... It's fun for like 5 minutes... but then it gets kind of boring
Just a fact for you guys: this game took over a million dollars to develop, around the same amount of money it took to develop Real Racing. If you're looking for quality, I suggest you look at Gangstar. Everyone who says that it's short, well you're wrong. It's an open environment and you can do whatever you want. Those who say that the controls are going to be bad, you're wrong. They spent a million dollars on this, I don't think they're going to mess the game up.
you dont just drive in this game. if you dont like driving....then go kill people!!!!! rob a bank do soemthing!!!!!lol
It was epic in GTAIII/VC/SA, but boring in GTAIV and Saints Row. Really depends on the thrill of the chase and the extent of the chaos.
Well maybe it won't drop in price in two weeks but I will get it when ever it does drop since I love the effort that went into the game but O really don't like these types of games. Albeit very tempting 0.o
