It's the best Gameloft game they have ever released IMO. Graphics are amazing as MC4. The voice-acting are much better, story is interesting enough, and there are lots of missions to do, especially racing missions. So far this is the best Gameloft game I've ever played: this and MC4.
Phew... just installed and no issues. Game starts perfectly. JBRUU: yes, Gangstar: LV uses Game Center.
Connect your external drive, then transfer the app files (.ipa)... Then, double click on the app files from the external drive. They should register the new location into itunes.
If my memory serves me right,Pulp Fiction,Bruce Willis is a fighter who refuses to take a dive and Ving Rhames puts a hit out on him = Gangstar Vegas plot
I wouldn't go so far as to say this is the best Gameloft has done, but it's definitely a good game. I'm having fun, and that's what's important. Everything I disliked about Rio has been fixed, from the cringe worthy dialogue and delivery to the shyt story to the lack of real physics...and to boot this game boasts an incredible amount of content. The I'm not even doing the missions, just exploring and enjoying the city. And IAP? I got 100k from getting 1 of 3 stars in a racing mission. I'm not concerned at all. Actually no, I am concerned. This has pulled me away from KOTOR, and at this rate I'll have 50-60 hours before I get to anything besides those two games. So much for clearing my backlog Yeah, speaking of length, I'm 10% done with the missions after having spent a tad over three hours on the game. It's long, not to mention the collectibles and just exploring if you're into that. The city's so big I haven't even gotten close to exploring the desert yet. Keep getting distracted by gang wars or pulling off stupid stunts ...ouch. I'm not going to mention how long it took me to download via wifi, but let's just say I'm pretty fortunate. The more I play the more I like it, just don't go in expecting something profoundly satirical or original. It's more about goofing off in several square miles of playground. Strange but welcome deviance from the usual Gameloft Live. If you're talking about pushing the limit of a 17+/M rating, then no. At least not so far. If you're referring more to the game treating the world as a digital playground to just have crazy fun in, then yeah, it leans more on the SR than GTA side of the fence. Especially since you can have vehicles delivered to you, and I'm guessing the parachute leads to some pretty darn cool stunts out of a plane as well.
Yea i did a hard reboot. It still happens. Try going by the strip a few times and you may see what i explained happening. Also for racing, it says error or whatver dont go out of bounds even though i never came close to going out of bounds. So error in that. It was the first race you do in the career. Against racer girl. Also, watching the story unfold. I noticed that the characters don't open there mouths when talking most of the time. You noticed that? Also going to the mini map to start a mission, it freezes a bit to load the mission. Like all you can see is a blury map and one of the characters blury body. I bought MC on day one and gave it a 1 star just because the hackers/cheaters online and it still tended to lag on my iPad 4. Maybe i got a shit iPad.
Hey guys, just wondering, the crash happens like this?: The game loads the title screen without problems, and then everything stops working, except the music. If you leave the game and return back to SB, and then open it again while it's in multitasking, it will crash. Is this okay? Well, the game will work again if you wait a bit before leaving.
This^. Has anyone played it on an iPad 3? If the frame rate sucks then I'll probably pass, or just wait a few months for a price drop at least before I take the plunge.
This is insane. I've only played for a little while after downloading, but the game runs really smoothly on iPhone 4. It looks great. The car physics aren't perfect yet but they're a massive improvement over Rio. When you hit people on bikes they fall off but the thing I'm most impressed with is that the dialogue isn't stupid and the voice acting isn't crap. I'm amazed.
Yeah, I'm playing it on Iphone 4 too and I'm really really impressed, also it seems mosts of the gfx effects are there too, I had done only 2 missions but gameloft had done a great job here, lags a little but nothing too distracting.
You won't regret it. I just played a little more - car chases in this are great fun. Gameloft also knocked it out the park with the radio stations - there's music from the film Drive in this! It fits perfectly.
I bought my first house, well got it free from vera. If i deliver my car to the place would it always stay there? I have to pay to deliver. Also can't even go in your house. Lame i think.
Welp...looks like I won't be playing anytime soon. Download almost finished, something happened, got that "The download could not be completed" message, hit "Retry" and it didn't pick up where it left, but restarted. Yay!
