Am I seeing things? There are 3 currencies, each with a $99 IAP? There are timers too? What the hell is going on? EP, Sanuku, anyone who's playing this...are IAPs a concern?
Yeah... it is definitely much better than the first. Vera's (sorta like your boss) character seems to be a little over the top, but everything else feels better. The controls are acceptable, but i really want a dynamic vstick on games like this. Why cant they just implement movement controls similar to Wild Blood at least? Oh Gameloft.
Smoke effects sometimes (not all the time) cause minor hiccups. During gameplay, everything's smooth, but the cutscenes, it's where the lag spikes a little.
I'm going through the tutorial/story intro right now, and liking what I see. Looks like the Gangstar franchise might've finally grown up. I'm not to the actual missions/sandbox gameplay yet, so consider this a "work in progress" opinion. Edit: you can apparently buy properties as well. Haven't seen any timers, what are you referring to MC? Edit 2: there are physics for pretty much everything, too. It's really an AAA experience here, no corners cut. And the reflections...wow. Back to playing!
IAPs definitely look optional, and feel more like cheats to get better rides and equips rather than finding them.
Varo_FN said, after trying the things that I suggested, "logging out of GC also works". And of course, when you're in airplane mode, Game Center won't try to log in. This way there's also no crash because GC remains silent. It's a known game/Game Center issue that already happened in some other games before. Easy to fix by Gameloft.
Nah, it's nothing There's a pawn shop where stuff appears for a limited time - that's the timer for when that stuff is no longer avalaible. Framerate is solid on my iPad 4, though not anything approaching 60. It's locked at 30, I beleive, and I never experience dips below 25. This is better than Rio in every possible way.
The timer is for the shop to refresh. Then the items you can buy are changed. You have some time to buy the displayed items, then they change, after that time is over. You can shorten or refresh faster that via in-game currency. By no means game-breaking.
The massive MMA fan in me is making this hard to resist. Juhbroo, this one's on your head...say I get it and I'll get it. I can be silly sometimes, but yeah...your call.
