I agree that they should do something in a different time period like you said. No jetpack in this one
Open world wise it's pretty good. I do wish it looked more like Vegas (no islands) and that there were a few more casinos + safehouses like in rio. Like I said its all about the nostalgia of the 2nd one (the same reason people prefer GTA 3 or Vice City over GTA IV)

Hey guys I'm the new(er) Community Manager for Gameloft and just wanted to stop by and make sure you all know about the new update that's coming tomorrow for Gangstar Vegas. It seems like you do based on some of the previous posts which is awesome! If you haven't seen anything for it I'll give you a quick little rundown of what's going to be included: -11 new missions -3 new vehicles (which are pretty sick if I do say so myself) -Some new challenges, job types and character gear -A new 3-tier weapon, which changes it's look as it you move it up tier by tier We put up a quick blog post about it on our Gameloft blog! I'm pretty active here on TA. I just wanted to wait for an opportunity to introduce myself to the GSV thread and this update was perfect for it! If you frequent the Asphalt 8 thread, you'll see I've posted a lot there as that will be my first launch with Gameloft. With being relatively new to Gameloft, I'm working on catching up with all of their games and working my way into each community You'll definitely see me posting in this thread when I get a chance, rather than just lurking now!
Not sure on the time per say, I just know it'll be out tomorrow. Let me ask and see if I can find out for you all.
So the update will go live around(ish) 3AM PDT I believe. I was just told that it will go live around afternoon time in France, where our HQ is at. So if I did the time conversion right for Pacific time in the US it could be 3AM at the earliest. So check for it when you wake up in the morning on Wednesday I believe!

I'm not sure how you can get the laser gun off the top of my head but I can ask around and see what I can find out. If you're having issues with unlocking those things after getting all items I'd recommend submitting a report to our support team. That definitely sounds like an issue with the game not recognizing your progress. No need to apologize for your English, I understood you perfectly!
