Okay, so far I have tried restarting my Ipad, switching into airplane mode, canceling the "cloud synch"....nothing ever helped. And i am Almost certain That this a Bug, because for a Brief Moment I can See my Character Standing in the streets as if you Could Start playing. But then the Intro Starts and shit is all over again..... I am Feeling jipped
Gangstar Rio was the worst game I have ever played. It was a blatant copy of Grand Theft Auto, and it wasn't even done very well! I doubt Vegas is any better.
Try opening up the game through your game center app. That should solve the game save problem. You should only have to do it that way once. After doing that I've never had another issue with continuing where I left off.
I stole a tank and I got chased by a truck and was the exact one from MC4. I have noticed a lot of MC4 stuff in this game.
you don't play many games do you if that was the worst game you ever played. vegas is actually a pretty decent game. much better than rio. for the person asking about hovercraft/indy car, you have to get them from the pawn shop i believe. I've seen the indy car in there. i had just messing around yesterday after stealing the military copter and killing pedestrians/hitting cars. I like the ragdoll physics of pedestrians as they fly across an intersection/hit a wall etc. By doing so some police helicopters came after me. after I shot those down air to air, they sent 3 military copters. That was harder to get by and had to make a run for it. really impressed at how entraining and fun this gangstar title turned out. pleasant surprise.
Was so bored, i went to the pawn shop and spent over 9 million dollars. Looking for the indy car. It is not on here.
I have two questions: first one is can you upgrade weapons or does that have to be done through the pawn shop. The second one is what does it mean like parts needed, is it the collectible items on the map or what?
I never did look close enough to see it when everyone else did at the beginning. But, I also haven't seen it when in the Pawn Shop. But, I haven't played much of it after the story. I'll watch for it. I haven't seen a way other than the Pawn Shop. And it means you need that many of the weapon or whatever it shows. You can buy the rest of them right there, it just costs a bunch to get them.

Yea i own the cup car/stock racing car. Level 3 Go to roadrunner in racing and im top of the leaderboard.
Yes or save lot of money to buy the higher level ones from the pawn shop. Without having to collect all guns.
Has anyone had any luck unlocking the Game Center achievements that require you to "Own all guns/clothes/cars"? I bought all the clothes that are available in the shop, including hats and hair cuts, but it didn't unlock the achievement, not in game and not in GC.
I have a few of the upgraded versions of things but you can't just buy these can you? Don't you just stumble upon them? Does anyone know if there is an updated version of each thing?
You can buy upgraded versions in the pawn shop and yes pretty much every item in the store is upgradeable.
I'm actually enjoying the previous one more right now. The new one is very buggy. And even though the new one has great ragdoll people in it, I like the increased control I have in the old one. He seems more responsive, easier to control, and when you tell him to get in a car, He Gets In A Car. You don't have to waste time pressing the button over and over again while the cops shoot at you. Nothing ruins a game more than feeling like something bad that happened wasn't your fault.
