I must admit the MP idea would be pretty sweet, but that'd be a little too big for a free update. I'm just hoping for better police AI and increased difficulty.
Gameloft would be making more money from us from premium games, if they had like $2.99 iAP for Multiplayer add on. Everyone would be like "omg i want multiplayer". But some people would complain. That is our world. Complainers and agreers. I agree this game was to easy and running from the cops is to easy. If they add more of a difficulty option to the game, it would seem better. Also they should fix the AI cars from not smashing in the wall all the time, without anyone hitting them lol.
Someone brought up multiplayer? That would be pretty sweet,Free Mode in this game would be so fun with people, and my piloting skill from GTA IV translates here pretty well,if people ever need a pilot to help them out I could probably do it Well,if multiplayer on here is ever a thing...
I can't even view my map anymore. Anyone having this problem? SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY, IT'S LIKE IM TALKING TO MYSELF.
The review was very balanced. Looks good but my experience with Gameloft has been bad over the years. They tend to have huge downloads at the expense of frame rate. Can anyone confirm what frame rate is like. Not whether you like the game or not but what the frame rate is like.
The delivery cost is double the resale value of the car at a chop shop. The charge is in place to prevent people from mining massive amounts of money. The first delivery is usually free.
Wow, AppSpy just gave it a 2/5 0.0 It's not a perfect game at all, but I feel it deserves at least a three point five- four. (From the AppSpy website) PROS Decent visuals. A healthy number of missions. Larger map. CONS Poor controls. Dull and buggy combat. Derivative, uninspired plot. Lazy writing and borderline offensive stereotyping. VERDICT With its awkward controls, buggy combat, and cardboard characters, Gangstar Vegas is all glitter and no gold.
PG's reviews almost always leave me thinking they didn't play much of the game. And controls? I've had almost zero problems with them. PG lost credibility with me a long time ago with their 9mm review; I just pass their "journalism" off as dogmatic BS most of the time. I can't recall a review they've done that I've agreed with in the past year, either. None of their complaints ring particularly true, and my complaints lie with the sheer ease with which one can escape the law. That and all the fast traveling.
I don't see how any of the GTAs are easier to control than this. The combat here is definitely better.
This game deserves a better score than that. There are a few bugs here and there but a 2 out of 5. They must be on some stone cold crack.
*reads comments in thread, thinks "Harry Slater?", scrolls to end of Pocketgamer review, says "Yerp" out loud, closes Pocketgamer window and moves on*
i wanted to make the character a little more blend in so I gave him hair until a close shot revealed a "rug." I immediately changed him back to the standard.
Nothing special. I got the top of the line heavy artillery rifle at the level I'm on. It has served me well. I use to use the single small machine gun for a lower profile but I found it doesn't matter. So, at the level I'm on I use the revolver. It has the most stopping power for car use. Otherwise, I use the heavy artillery rifle all the time. I used the flame thrower a lot when I was going broke trying to crack the army base. It's unlike any other in any other game I've used, you don't catch fire when you use it. I got the fastest race car, looks like the Mustang and found although it had the handling I was looking for, it's sort of fragile and won't take the beating the other cars will but I finally realized that's what the repair kits are for. I bought the property in the rich section with a roundabout. I travel there, put a car across the road, it backs up traffic and I can pick and choose. I guess unless there are more cars above, I use the Storer (sp), steal it of course. Most of the time it's in the driveway to the left after I travel to the property. No planes. No helo's, I bought the airport and travel if I need one. They are pretty useless, no arms. I like the car I stole for Vera as well. I own a lot of doubles and triples of cars and bikes. No by purpose. I got a message I am legal to carry the heavy artillery rifle whatever that means. I keep a lot of health, vests, repairs and parachutes. I use grenades but until I can upgrade the explosion they work sometimes. The only thing I'm actively working on is upgrading personal damage control. I haven't spent a cent of real money other than the cost of the game which I am amazed at.
