Have you found the indy car in the pawn shop yet? As soon as i bought the game and played, i took a look and there it was. Now i can't view it. GameCenter: Username? I can send level three things too you and you can do the same.
Ooh, haven't thought to sell that. Actually haven't found it yet, including the army base Yeah guys, feel free to add me on GC: JBRUU.
Huh? I mean when I enter the army base I get 5 star wanted level. I think it's the army base. The one by the desert?
Even if you "own" it, the army base is still a restricted area and you'll get the maximum wanted level when entering it. All owning does is entitle you to the property's income. It doesn't give you access to freely roam the area without being riddled with bullets
Tip for keys- some people recommended the survival missions but this is flawed since you're restricted to a small area and most downed enemies are killed too far from the safe zone to retrieve dropped keys and then get back without the timer running out. The best way to get keys is to go to a small indoor area like a the convenience store or bank. Start slaughtering everyone inside to build up your wanted level and cops will start spawning inside the building. Once you get your wanted level to the max you will almost always get a key drop. I've done it 5 times and gotten a key 4 of them. I think that it may be a reward for maxing out the wanted level. SP is pretty easy to get through regular play. You're rewarded for doing enough of pretty much any action. Do lots of power slides and jumps while driving, run over pedestrians and just create general mayhem and you'll be regularly awarded with experience towards leveling up your character and gaining SP. Money- Replay races, you won't get as much as the first play through but $60,000 for some of the short courses is a decent chunk of change.
TIP FOR RACING especially early on. Use motorcycles, NOT cars. They're faster, handle better, and it's easier to avoid obstacles and therefor time penalties for vehicle damage.
So I am assuming that the "get a key every day you play" thing is broken, huh? I click on it but nothing, nada, zip, zilch!
Alright thanks for clearing that up for me. I think gameloft needs to change that, so we can roam freely. Also need to take off the dang delivery cost. That's dumb, you buy the mo stet truck for let's say 3M and you have to pay 200,000 to get it delivered. I guess that is where missions and iAP's come into play.
Playing Gangstar Rio a whole lot after the game was over everything I bought things in the beginning that were not needed. With the upgrade, I bought the Abominator, with that car you can do just about everything to win the game quickly and have fun being the king of Rio after that. The jet pack was a dream come true. It alone was worth the price or the steal. The second is the police helicopter, invaluable. I used to attack the Navy cruiser for a long time and lose to get the jet pack. All you have to do is fly by the glow at the entrace to the ship, land on the far end which starts the third guy up the gang plank. When he gets on deck, all three with the key cards are on deck. Use the helo machine gun to take them out, while starting down the deck, two of the three have the key cards. Sometimes it goes into slow motion but done quickly, you have both key cards. Stay behind the tower, get as close as you can to the glow and the jet pack is yours. Gain altitude right away while taking a right to the airport. Once you are at max altitude of the jet pack, the stars start going down. I land at the at the airport or hover above the vest in the back yard by the boat. Money is never a problem. Bank job, mountain drug deal, 8 grand every time. Unless you do it for fun, the drugs are a loser. Really low pay out. Doesn't take a lot of planning, run in, take the right to the morgue, grab the drugs, leave the way you came, left down the alley to the cars, you're good. The vest should last and you don't have to fire a shot. The meth lab is by the hideout in the gang hideout. Weapons, no problem, take the Abominator down the tracks by the rail tracks toward the drug garage, at soon as you hear the first shot, one finger on the machine gun, one on the accelerator, knock th pole down as you position yourself by the fence by the boat, fire away while watching the damage on the Abominator, about half way on the gauge, start collecting weapons and cash by backing and going forward, a couple passes will get all the ammo and weapons you need. Head back to the hideout by the trains, park in back of the first building, wait until the stars go out. The Abominator will only take one direct hit from a tank so while parked or moving a little by the aforementioned fence to keep more attackers coming, move the gun from the left to the right but don't move the gun so it can see the cop cars on the hill. So, in Gangstar Vegas, police helicopter, (police boat, not really necessary,) I only needed it once for the army base, the high end Yama motorcycle is invaluable for winning all the races and getting to the E room. The police helo might be a waste because they have you outgunned so I haven't got it yet.
I did a lot of recon because gameplay with E and the actual mission broke my bank. I beat it this morning and am basking in success before Vera. I built up my money by doing the races, big payouts using the Yama motorcycle. I did a couple test runs and if you get past the red circle you can roam the base. I'm sure there are less complicated ways but I had tried everything I could think of. I won't bore you with the details. I ended up buying a lot of vests and health packs and using the Yama motorcycle, went into the front gate, to the entrance to the warehouse, up the ramp to the room, got the gizmos, ran to the roof on the same level in back, hopped the vent, got by the edge, did a jump to the first wall, on a dry mission, I got caught between the walls, jumped from that wall into the river, summoned the police boat which I didn't know until later had a machine gun, would have keep the star level up probably if I used it, kept going to the right down the river, I got close hits but had one repair kit, used it, avoiding obstacles and finally after using many more vests and health packs, lost them. If this didn't work, I was out of ideas, so the tanks will never work for escape, remember E, you should ditch the tank, ditch/tank/river, the army helo just prolonged the agony, I know there is an easier way but I don't see it and I don't care, I don't want to see the army base again. Hope this hels someone, it got to be almost like, is this worth the aggravation.
You can roam freely. Drive in the front gate with the fast Yama motorcycle, go toward the entrance to get the E spy things, get out of the red circle on radar and everyone will be gone. Not worth anything but it was the only way I could think of to come up with an escape from the base, I had tried everything I could think of and it broke my bank.
Lol, yea i escaped a few times. As i say a few times that means the only way i died was a pedestrian car hitting me out of know where and killing me happens a lot. I have a total of 5 death injureies on the staus bar. I also had the private jet fall and not smoke or show burning while i hit the ground then i dropped a foot more and it blew up. I was like wth lol. Im really loving this game. What maxed out vehicles, weapons, cloths, guns do you have? I think they to add more radio stations in a update, i like listening to them all . Last, they should definitely make more outfits for our chracter. Would make me play longer. Also would be sweet to add free roam multiplayer with atleast 7 people in your server room, like they have in GTA on the Xbox and stuff.
