Wow freakin love this game, I just beat chapter 2 I believe. Has any one flown that plane with like jet engines on it? That is so fun. Also is anyone else addicted to just finding the collectibles?
Not sure but it does decent on iPad 2 if that helps. I mean there is some minor stuff but I am not all to crazy about it all being perfect either. Just glad I can play it period.
Does this game store your save file on a server? It has occasionally asked me to retrieve my save progress from the server when continuing the game.
Runs great, comparable to GTA3 and GTA:VC. Gotta add this is a superb game. Although the physics can feel a bit mechanical at times. Everything else is amazing. I have been playing GTA since 2001, and finished all the 3D titles. I feel Gangstar Vegas actually rivals GTA San Andreas in gameplay in the sheer amount of thing you can do.
So true. Good game but the scale is 4x smaller than San Andreas (9sq kilometers vs 36sq kilometers). The customization, interaction, story, vehicles, and general gameplay are also nowhere near the level of GTASA. Definitely a good game, especially considering it comes from Gameloft, but can't be legitimately compared to San Andreas in any way other than some similar settings.
So I beat the story...now what? Do races and heists and such? Oh and is there a place to store helicopters? I had an apache from the military base. Also are there other cool flying aircraft that any of you have found?
Still stand by what I wrote. Gangstar Vegas is closer to San An then anything else in the app store. While I do love Rockstar GTA titles and San Andreas they haven't delivered core GTA in a long time, albeit Chinatown is a great game. GTA 4 was a huge letdown for me, and the porting of III and VC while cool still feel as though they(R*)have been mailing it in. Until we get the real San Andreas on MOBILE I will stand by my above statement. Gangstar Vegas shows that after 4 attempts Gameloft finally got it right, great story, characters, customization, map size, and tons of stuff to do. Reminiscent of San An.
I have 3.8gb available on my IPod, I'm not sure if that's enough memory. When I press buy app it ask if I'm 17 or older then asks for my password. I don't want to go any further in case I don't have enough memory, will it still charge me if it can't download?
But that's all the memory I can clear up, I could probably get it to 4.gb, will that be enough. Thanks for the quick reply to.
4Gb will do it. The game is 1.4Gb download size, which will take up to 2.8Gb while installing, and the final size is 2.6Gb.
I can't beat the mission where Spoiler you have to kidnap someone for Frank. Do I just keep following the car, or do I need to find some way to stop it ? Thanks!
I was stuck on that mission for a bit. I was shooting and shooting at him until i finally rammed him into a wall and got him stuck. I'd just try and put him in a corner and then quickly pull him out of the car. Then all you have to do is beat him down and voila.
