.. Kind of off topic here but I need the new iPad to come out already! I am going to get it and have been patiently waiting, but with all these awesome iPad games coming out lately and some coming out soon I really am jonesing Anyone have any predictions of when it will come out?
I need help with a mission. It's the one for frank and you have to beat up a gang member but he gets in his blue truck and you have to chase him...how do I beat this mission!! Help
Yeah I couldn't do that one, took me ages, at first I though that you weren't supposed to catch him and it was part of the story that he would get away or something because he was too fast! It is difficult but you just have to run alongside him and try to crash him into a wall or something, then quickly jump out your car and grab him
Oh haha, yea I declined. I hate accepting notifications. I thought like receiving a notification from declining notifications lol. I don't know why I thought that. My stupid sims free play keeps saying sol sol or whatever. I have notifications off for that too. It's very annoying.
+1 to that. I rammed him into the wall and he couldn't move. At first I thought he would get away till I got beside him and got him stuck
Would this happen to be the first Gangstar (and one of the very few third-person action games from Gameloft) to offer full manual aiming (absolutely no auto-aim, a completely player-controlled crosshair, with no target stickyness, "close enough" mechanics or automated target selection)?
Nope. Would be nice to have an option, but ultimately this isn't about the combat as much as it is about the driving and exploration.
Just did a race and finished going black screen saying i won then i heard a car crash and said i owe 50,000 in hospital bill. Has anyone had this happen?
Which is why I've never enjoyed a single Gangstar title It's a shame that people reason like this (at least when the devs do), when the actual coding required to put in an option in the settings to remove the auto-aim (which, as a general rule, is a peripheral mechanic superimposed on an already existing free-aim mechanic, which exists simply by virtue of the system that allows the player to look around with swipes) generally represents very, very little work.
this game looks so freaking good i cant believe im playing it on my phone. there are so many beautiful places. i cant stop taking schreenshots and look at them again and again. this time gameloft has done a very good job.
Something tells me that buying this game for my 5th gen iPod wasn't a smart idea. Are there any other 5G users out there experiencing tons of crashes? I got past the opening fine, but I just can't get through the mission right after that. I'm talking about the one where you're escaping from the police in an armored truck. The game just keeps crashing. Closing all the background apps fixes nothing... Is there some workaround I missed in one of the earlier posts?
Thanks. Found it. Karl's cars with the chop shop just to its left. Its a good little earner and cop cars can get well paid.
Alright... deleted the game, re-installed, made sure no background apps were open, rebooted, and now everything's working fine. Whatever was causing the crash is gone now. Time for some mayhem!
