I want to chime inand say yes the game looks great but after playing some console like games on my ipad, I realized these games just don't work for me on a touch screen.

Driving isn't as fun or vehicles as varied in handling as GTA, but it's still well implemented. Especially the motorcycles and various special vehicles like the Tenderizer.

But seriously - the cops need to chase you a bit more. I'm still in the first 1/3 of the game and it's no sweat going from 2 stars to none in 30 seconds or less.

Sometimes I am driving ... Well, this happens most of the time...the car loses speed and starts going backwards.

Also does anyone know what the point of the liquor and snack stores? Or how to change cameras?

Solid game though. Doesn't have the GTA polish but then this isn't a console release/Rockstar title. Gameloft have done a really nice job and I don't regret the purchase one iota.

Same, but said completed at 42%. Maybe they are going to make more story?

That's overall game progress, like finding all hidden collectables, doing all side missions, leveling stuff up,etc. GTA does that too,if I recall correctly Vice City ended at like 44% completion for me,and a lot of other games did around that area as well

Darn, you ruined my hopes lol. Thanks for explaining though. They need to make cooler outfits for the character and and fix the graphics on iPad 4 and iPhone 5. They deserve better graphics than iPad 3.

I'm not even halfway through the story, and my completion meter is 36%. It's measures your overall completion. Collectables, side missions, etc.

Protip: trading up weapons at the pawnshop really helps. I now use my level 3 pistol most of the time - it's accurate at a range and will take down unarmored targets in 3 shots.

Hey, Rip, that garage where you sell stuff is a property you can buy. Look for it on the property map on the middle right side.

My biggest complaint remains: I escaped a five-star rating fairly easily. I just kept driving in one direction and they lost me in about 1.5 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. Plus the fact that I can buy all my health, ammo and armor from the pause menu. If there's one thing I really loath about this game, it's the difficulty level. And repairing your car on the go??? For only 10k??? Crazy cheap and stupidly included!

But yeah, 13 hours put into the game since the Friday release. Yes I'm crazy. But this is the most fun I've had with an iOS game in quite some time.

You should get notifications when your properties have regenerated the hourly money but I have constantly got one on my game icon which won't go away even when I collect the money.

I own 12 out of 20 buildings and never got a notification. Maybe it works for some people and others it don't.

This is actually the best story out of all iOS games, i like. I actually spent 9 hours on the game and completed it. Played like 2 hours one day and partied a couple days after then back on the game. Back and forth.

Would be sweet if they could add more story to the game after the ending. Seems like there should have been more.

How to get special vehicles in the store?

Hiya, I was playing and noticed there were 'limited' vehicles in the store like the Hyvel jet, army chopper and a weird bike I can't remember the name of ...

Anyway, I saved up enough cash for the bike but when I went to buy it, it wasn't there anymore :(

Does anyone know how to get the 'limited' or special vehicles to show in the store again?

    Cheers.

I also noticed that the final two chapters of the story went by extremely quickly, much faster than the first three

Seems like something's wrong when you have to pay $9,000 to take your own shirt off.

You need to have it enabled not only in the game, but also in your system settings under notifications. I know that I normally decline notifications on most games so when I declined it on this game and the options are still enabled in game I did not receive any notifications until I went into my notification Center and allowed it from there!

Well to rebut, that all depends on the person too! Besides, I am not in the know but I believe $9000 is above he going rate for that, hehe!
